To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Fantastic place to stay, was made to feel special and really loved our stay. 10/10, loved the bathroom, tv system was great, mini fridge was great selection, the view was amazing, pool was really nice (little cold) Staff was great!

One of the best hotels in Cairns. Fabulous pool, comfortable bed with a choice of pillows and depending on your room some spectacular views ! Enjoyed dining and cocktails at the Calypso club. Borrowed bikes to cruise by the water. Clean, stylish interiors. Love that they consider environmental impact/sustainability too.

AustraliaThe air conditioning seemed to have an issue and wouldn't change to the requested temperature, but apart from that, I have no complaints!
Loved the large rooms and the gorgeous views (I stayed in the panoramic with sea views, then 2 nights in the king room with city views) it was great that they had filtered water on tap too! The staff were helpful and friendly (they even fulfilled a fun request, which I'd forgotten, made me smile when arriving at the room! ^_^"). Also my plans had unexpectedly changed last minute and I had to book another few nights, Chana went above and beyond to help accommodate me during a very stressful time. I am so grateful for her compassion and kindness, I will definitely be staying at the Riley again in the future! :)

AustraliaThe only issue in our room. We were in a ocean view king, spectacular view out over the ocean. Facilities was great but the room when closed, and air conditioning on, became very musty with a mouldy smell. . I suffer from hay fever/asthma and it effected me. We had to leave the slide door open even with the air conditioning going to vent it I did report it to the staff.
Location, friendliness of staff and selection of food. Facilities were excellent.
