Possibly a little more sound proofing from the street musician playing at the restaurant below could be helpful if you're an early sleeper.

I had an upgrade studio and was reeally happy to be met after normal check in hours by a welcoming and helpful staff member. The bed was fab and the whole apartment perfect for my needs, including a little kitchen. The street it's on with it's range of shops and eateries is a great way to enjoy Melbourne without being right in the CBD throng. It's just a walk away if it's needed.

Very good location for Carlton renowned restaurant scene. Right in the heart of it but room was quiet at night. About 5 minutes walk from a tram stop. Melbourne CBD also a fairly easy walk away.

my room was exactly as described and shown on photos. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was always clean and had a balcony, the bed was very comfortable to sleep in. The location of the hotel is very close to the business district, with a tram stop nearby. There are lots of restaurants and shops in the streets around. I stayed more than three weeks there and felt like being at home.

The wifi was non-existent. The shower took ages to heat up. The balcony faced a concrete wall.

Very clean and quiet hotel in a great part of the city. Bed was really comfy and the kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook something yourself. The cleaners were excellent.

The cleanliness, we could find small debris on the floor before we moved in. The kettle was not dry when we first opened it. And we are not sure if it was because of the culture in Australia, that wearing shoes in the room is common, thus, the debris. Hence we had our indoor shoes.

The location is near to many restaurants and cafes. The staff are very helpful with inquiries. We also appreciate the staff helping with our luggage storage during our last day. In addition, the place is quiet to have a peaceful night.

One lady in reception- not there often or for long, who did not attend to people waiting in reception while she had what appeared to be a personal social interaction. Happened a few times. When other regular staff were around, they more than made up for this.

The location was excellent and the majority of staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and considerate. Willing to accommodate requests and also checked up regularly that I had what I needed and was comfortable. This attentiveness by far outweighed the next comment.

My room had pretty large carpet stains. This is not a huge issue, but just something the hotel could potentially improve on.

Great staff and great value for money. The rooms were very good and overall clean. The customer service experience is exceptional however, and the best I've had compared to any other hotel/motel.

It was a bit cold in the room 17°C/63°F and there was no heating, the staff told us the AC can heat as well but it could not produce any heat probably due to a malfunction. The view was facing towards an office next door and we saw the employees from like 10 meters (32ft) distance. But come on we came here to travel not to sit in a hotel room all day long so it was okay.

Staff is super nice, everyone was very helpful. They even gave us free parking on site. The room was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped.
