Cleanliness of the room was not great ..there policy of doing room service once in 3 days was not mentioned when we booked, so we had to literally ask for towels....glasses and cups in the room were old and not clean... carpet was old and dirty. A microwave in the room would be helpful as they didnt have any lunch or dinner service........paying almost $200 a night was not worth the way room and service was

Location was fine and the breakfast was decent

The reception closed early due to Easter and none of the resaurants were open.

The hotel appeared to have the only rooms above ground in Coober Pedy. The rooms were easy to access and the hotel was easy to find. The rooms were large withe all of the necessary facilities.

shelf above sink had hair bristles from previous guess shaving shower was fairly poor spray unfortunately function was on following day after our stay so we weren’t able to visit the cave museum / bar / restaurant etc downstairs which was sad For an underground room experience to be just inside the door was a bit naff - probably the worst room location as would have liked to be right down a corridor away from front entrance - the backpackers has rooms that are a better experience in my opinion for half the price ! This trip was for my daughter to experience underground stay this wasn’t up to standard unfortunately not for the price we paid.

I booked a room underground specifically for this stay but was given a motel room aboveground. When I asked the staff about this, the reply was 'sorry we are fully booked'. Not good enough. I paid extra to stay here for the underground experience. I could have stayed elsewhere for less if I had known we weren't going to get an underground room.

Position of the room we stayed in (Room 34 - at the front of the property) was very loud with cars and patrons coming into and exiting the property. There was a lack of defined car parking spaces. I just parked where I thought was OK as there was no signage anywhere indicating what was and wasn't parking area. There was water damage to the ceiling directly above the bed which had caused a hole in the ceiling that hadn't been repaired. The room had a musty smell on arrival and it was quite hot in the room as the air conditioner was off. Rooms are dated and definitely could do with renovation as one of the more expensive accommodation options in Coober Pedy.

Good location. Facilities at the hotel seemed nice however we didn't venture inside. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Check in was easy and the staff member was very helpful and polite. Good location with shops and restaurants directly across the road.

The room was a little dated but adequate for our needs. The restaurant etc was closed for Easter and most other facilities in Coober Pedy were also closed.

The room was comfortable. Parking was easy. The room was large and had a fridge, table and chairs and adequate TV.

We made the choice to stay in an above ground room during pretty serious heat. We have previously stayed here and would now go the underground room every time.

It is thoroughly cleaned, in a great location and good value for money. There is plenty of parking.

Room didn't have microwave only small kettle. This would help a lot with heating up meals. There was small fan on the wall that didn't have enough power to push the air as far as beds so it was bit hot, we had our door open to let the cold air from the corridor in.

Central location, comfy beds and unique experience staying underground. Pool was great on the hot days.

The bugs in the room at night (mosquito attack!)… and the random phone ringing at all hours of the night… and the mould in the bathroom shower cubicle was a little off putting.

Location was great, staff were super friendly and helpful, and ability to have a lovely cold shower was great.

The restaurant is closed for renovations - and has only breakfast but not dinner. The place needed a real good clean and was pretty tired looking. Having a pokie bar should be more to the side. You don’t want to be harassed by drunk locals in the daytime if you’re a tourist. Two nights too much - probably only need one night: the tourist activities are pretty tired and worn.

The location was central and it had a pool.
