Didn't get to stay longer, was too quick 😂

Everything, been a while since I've been in a lil quiet getaway. I even got to use the axe to split some couple of firewood to make up for what I used to keep the house warm and a bonfire going.

The cottage was so lovely, with amazing views and a short walk from Balinga. We were greeted on arrival and shown our cottage. Walking in was just lovely, open plan country feel, with fresh eggs, bread, butter and milk ready to go. The beds were comfortable and warm and the house was lovely, orderly and clean. If you are looking for a peaceful, quiet retreat this is your place. We were extremely happy with our stay. Thank you so much.

Road nearby was sometimes a littlw bit noisy but not overly so. The pull out sofa was very uncomfortable but everything else in good condition.

Lovely cottage. Beautiful area. My son loved the horses and the kids could just walk to the general store. Freshly baked bed and farm eggs on arrival.Close to orher small towns 30min drive .

Secluded location. Super quiet. Unfortunately didn’t plan to cook on this weekend as the kitchen was so well equiped!

It didn’t bother us but the lodge is near the road - which is convenient- but it is a bit noisy not anything to keep you awake just if you wanted complete silence that isn’t here

Lila was very helpful We were provided with homemade bread, marmalade , butter , eggs and milk which delivered us breakfast during the whole of our stay Spacious accommodation with all the equipment you would need we also loved the area Limited choices for evening meals if you don’t want to cook but recommend the packing shed and Bridgetown brewery during the day and the shamrock in Greenbushes In The evening Don’t miss Greenbushes pool

We arrived just on dark . There was no newspaper or firelighters to light the fire so after trying without fine kindling it went out and the first night was cold. We bought newspaper the next day and stocked up on the kindling. My partner kept bumping his head on the saloon doors in the toilet - too close to the loo!

I liked the cottage feel and the jarrah predominance - I liked the beds but the pillows were uncomfortable - i could bring my own pillow next time :) The shower was lovely and hot, the kitchen was well supplied. The couch was comfortable ( for one !! ) . The views through the trees and the hills beyond were lovely.

Our only disappointment was the traffic noise from a major road in the valley beneath the property. It was a busy road, regularly frequented by trucks. At times this detracted from the serenity of the beautiful setting, however it was never an issue at night. In spite of this, we still rate the accommodation very highly and would definitely want to stay again!

The wood fire, the fresh bread and eggs, the beautiful wood decor everywhere and the advice and friendliness of our host. There were birds in abundance too and this added to the beauty of the setting. The cottage was also close to town, within easy walking distance.
