We were unable to explore the birds much as there were alot of spiders around it. The oven in our room wasn't working properly and would burn our food, only had high heat. The aircon only cooled the kitchen/dining area which caused the rooms to be excessively hot and stuffy especially at night. The playground had spiders which prevented our children from using it.

It was very clean and well maintained daily by all cleaning and maintenance staff. Perfect location, close to all main areas, pool was great. The room was good size and had everything required. It was great having wheelie bin at our room and emptied daily, staff were always available, the free activities and face painting was great for our young children. The security at night gave piece of mind. The use of the bbq at our room was excellent. All staff were friendly, welcoming and did a excellent job daily. We would definitely recommend.

Great facilities, kids loved the pool and all the school holiday activities that the park put on each day. Close enough to all theme parks. Would stay again.

Its a little way from the main part of GC - and its tucked in behind an industrial estate - but it doesn't feel like that once you are there - it's surrounded by tropical planting and very peaceful.

The staff were lovely, the grounds were beautiful, and the easter long weekend activities for the kids were awesome

The lagoon pools and the facilities, the macaw mansion is excellent and had a full kitchen and parents retreat with a spa. The activities they provide for kids were wonderful - we stayed over Easter and there was an egg hunt, face painting and a disco for the little ones .

Our cottage was perfect for a family of 5 and only a few step away from the pools And playgrounds. Everything was clean, the whole village was lovely, and the staff were amazing. We would love to stay again! Loved the shop that was open late and the buggy rides and the macaws! The best part were the birds all gorgeous and they talk! Thank you for an awesome time.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed and lack of natural light. Main bed was lumpy and the bunkbed mattresses were hard and that the cabin is quite dark. You had to use the inside lights even with the window shutters open.

We loved the pools, the playground and the peacefulness of the property.

The rooms are outdated and could use an easy freshen up of course still keeping the charm of the rooms

The atmosphere and staff were wonderful, great for families with young children especially with the crafts most mornings.

The location in Ashmore was a bit of a travel to get to some places. Not that far from theme parks, but took a long time from the brisbane airport. However other than that our stay was perfect.

Ashmore resort was perfect for our family. The pool was amazing, the parrots entertained the kids. The cottage was a good size and had all the things we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Couch was no good but was promptly replaced with a brand new one, very happy! TV on/off button not working in the lounge, but just used button on side of the TV. Toilet in ensuite making noise after flushing & leaked onto floor!

Bed was very comfortable, slept really well, peaceful. Had everything u needed, washing machine & dryer worked well. Barbeque worked well. Air conditioner & fans all in good working order. Staff were very obliging & helpful! Overall a great place to stay especially if you have kids!

There were many things to do on the property, the pool was nice, the birds were beautiful, tennis courts & racquets, dvd rental, the iplay activity. The staff were friendly and kind.
