The Villa Nautica Paradise Island Resort is a 20-minute speedboat ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival. The resort is spectacular, well maintained and clean. Beautiful resort mimetized in a natural environment. I was half board and enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner. The buffet is huge in variety and choices, especially at dinner. They change daily the mains, salads and desserts. Great service! The waiters are all very friendly and dedicated. In general, all staff members were most helpful, friendly and very polite. Make you feel very comfortable. At my arrival the personel from the hotel were waiting for me at the airport, even though my flight was delayed. They helped with everything! Zaki the agent responsible of my reservation, was very approachable and professional, he gave me all the information I needed about the resort and services, offered his help to schedule dinners and activities for me, very quick responding to my questions. Sumon was also excellent, he took care of my villa, every day the room was clean and freshen as the first day. He was very respectful with all my belongings, very quick in the service and provided me with adapter for my laptop. Thank you so much Zaki and Sumon for making my stay so comfortable and taking care of everything. Definitely recommend this resort to anyine wanting to enjoy Maldives!

The Royal Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute wheeled aircraft ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival. Excellent 3 night visit at Royal Island. Fantastic service from all the staff, in particular Prasad, our host, who looked after all our needs as well as Osam and Alibaba - our guides on a snorkeling trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the band that played most night (Aga and Joyce) and some of the other activities. We had the all-inclusive option and food and drink choices were good for a short trip - if we had stayed longer, we might have tried the a la carte options. The room was very comfortable (sunset beach villa) and clean, with the beach just footsteps away. We snorkeled a bit on the house reef, which was very nice but the snorkeling trip was brilliant (saw turtles, sharks, dolphins etc). The transfer to the island was smooth - we had to wait an hour for the domestic flight to a nearby island, but were then immediately ushered to the speedboat for the final 10 minute ride. On our return, the domestic flight was going to be late, so Prasad organized us to take a speedboat to another nearby resort to catch a sea-plane direct to Male, ensuring we were on time for our international flight.

We've been looking for a quiet and serene resort to enjoy and got exactly that. Our water villa was towards the end of the bridge with a beautiful sunset view. I loved the design! Clean, modern, mostly neutral with some splash of colour. Pool, swings and rocking sunbeds. Everything brand new. 90% privacy, you still can see your neighbors, but only if they are going down the stairs to swim. The rest is blocked by the wall behind the swings and you definitely feel very cozy. We had one complimentary snorkeling trip included and it was great! Beautiful fishes, corals, sharks and dolphins! It's 10-15 min by boat from the hotel. Resort itself doesn't have a house reef, but you still can find some corals and fishes around your villa, just need to swim a bit. There's also stingrays and eagle rays around! Baby sharks are easy to spot at night. Water is amazing! Super warm! Ocean something was more hot than our pool. There's a current, so I'd recommend to get set of fins for easier swimming. You have an options for in villa dining and two main restaurants - Bluefin (buffet concept) and Fahrenheit (fine dining, grill specialty). Villa dining menu is limited, but we was happy with both of the restaurants and also got floating breakfast experience. For a week on the island we didn't get bored with food at all. Buffet menu for breakfast and dinners changes every day and it's really tasty. As well as wonderful grill dishes from Farenheit. Staff is great! Everyone is friendly, warm, polite. Even just passing by people will great you or offer a buggy ride or point out if there's an interesting sea creatures around. I loved surprises from a hotel! We got bubble bath, bed decoration and cake for our anniversary. We was in a good hands of Mo, she'd always reply quickly and never left any request unattended.
