Guest rooms at the resort are equipped with a seating area. Weligama Temple Tree features some units with garden views, and every room has a kettle. Loved everything during our stay, from the very warm welcome, amazing breakfasts to the very comfortable room. Liked the location, with a few cute restaurants and coworkspace minutes walking away, a bit further from the busy main streets. Saw many birds and even a monkey from the terrace. Nice 15min walk over the (bit dirty unfortunately) beach to the main beginner surfspot. Other beaches and towns easily reachable by bus or tuktuk.

Located within 300 metres of Unawatuna Beach and 1.7 km of Rumassala South Beach in Unawatuna, Hiru Resort Inn Unawatuna features accommodation with seating area. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The place was very clean and well maintained. It was located around 10min walk from the beach, in a jungle. The only problem was very bad reception and super slow WiFi, but if you sat closer to the router it worked well. The typical breakfast of eggs, toast and fruits was included. The hosts were amazing, they upgraded our room without additional payment. What is more, they helped me when I needed charger after mine broke.

Free private parking is available on site. Accommodation is wonderful! The room is big, the shower is warm, the host is really helpful and friendly. And the best part is the pool, or should I say 2 pools. They are beautiful and clean and so nice for a swim :) amazing for this price!
