Everything was more than we expected. We had the whole 2 bedroom house to ourselves, even though it was just the two of us. Spacious rooms, squeaky clean and very well equipped for self catering. In a quiet and secure part of town. Good wifi. Landlady made good recommendations for sights, restaurnats etc. She responded immediately when we had questions. Very generous with complimentary coffee, tea, rusks and cookies, water and juice! Secure parking behind electronic gate. Most beautiful garden and huge patios (one covered) to relax on for your evening BBQ. Book at least three nights to explore Graaff Reinette (Excellent museums, restaurants and shops) and surroundings....valley of Desolation, Camdeboo National park and Nieu-Bethesda. Home from home, for sure!

Bed was very comfortable. There is information and maps of things to do in the area. Good communication with host. Highly recommended.

Toni is an exceptional host and pays a lot of attention to detail. Our doggies and cat was well accommodated and we all slept very comfortably. A very good stop over spot after a long day's driving. Toni kept in contact the whole time to ensure that she is ready for when we arrived. Provisions were also made for loadshedding. And the breakfast was amazing!

Wild Olive Cottage in Graaff-Reinet features accommodation with free WiFi, 11 km from Valley of Desolation and 11.8 km from Urquhart House Museum. The holiday home is 11.9 km from Reinet House Museum.... Niles was very responsive. Location is amazing. Hot water was scalding, a nice change from some places I've been to.
