Then I loved the chicken soup for breakfast)) Room 53 was spacious & very comfortable for me to sleep in! Thank you! I enjoyed drinking the complimentary tea! The reason why I came to Poltava was to meet my girlfriend as well as attending Tina Karol/Tatyana Liberman's concert. However, I wasn't very happy after the concert due to the fact that she took off without saying hello nor goodbye(( That hurts. I think I will be back in the summer in Poltava, only less than 1 day of stay isn't that fruitful if we wanna visit tour spots.

I liked the city, as it was close to the size of where I am from in America. It's not too big, but also it is not too small. There seems to be everything needed close by, such as food, shopping, banks, and pharmacy. If I return to Ukraine, I will come back to Poltava.

This was my first trip to Ukraine.
This was my first trip to Ukraine. I found that Poltava was a much less expensive city than Kiev. I stayed very close to the City Center and was within walking distance of at least 40 shops, stores, and restaurants. My friends were able to easily find me and I could navigate the main thoroughfares with confidence and without a street map. My visit was in November - the trees had just shed their leaves. I've no doubt that in May the city is much more picturesque with its tree lined streets and gardens.

Nice, clean, simple old town. The rest of Poltava is pretty much like any other medium-sized city. Easily accessed by train from Kiev.

Lots of history in the city. The White Rotunda offers a breathtaking view of the city. The city center is always active. The people I met were very friendly and helpful. If you are into military history, a visit to the Poltava War Museum is a must.

This is a very nice small hotel in the center of Poltava, very close to the pedestrian area where the best shops, restaurants, and parks are. The staff at reception were very friendly, and I even had a very long chat with one receptionist about running! There are a few choices for breakfast in the connected "Kamin" restaurant, all of which are delicious, and the staff there are very friendly and polite. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Poltava.

Was very surprised by cleaning service provided, but not sure if it is a good idea to hide trash bags in the locker (had to ask for them the cleaning lady). The bathroom and the apartment itself were much more cleaner than you can see in other reviews - I have no any remarks to the tidiness overall. In general, for my semi-working trip I am satisfied on 100%.
