Anantara Tozeur Resort features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, 3 outdoor swimming pools and a fitness centre. Location, service, room, food, spa, everything was excellent. My husband and I booked the spa by design which was amazing. Totally worth staying here.

Dar Hi is a design hotel 1 minutes’ walk from Nefta’s palmgroves in southern Tunisia. A natural hot spring heats the outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy a hammam and spa treatments on site. Dar Hi was a huge surprise. I haven't seen many places like this and the architect of the hotel deserves a big award. Incredible views of the city, gorgeous interior, really excellent cuisine and all this complemented by a really attentive staff. The icing on the cake is the hammam and heated pool. I regret that we could not stay more than one night.

The hotel was well located close to the Airport. The lady in the Reception ( Besma ) was very professional, nice and best smile ever, good presentation uniform clean and badge visible. She was always helpful and answered all my queries, she is an asset for the chain Mouradi. Bar staff polite and professional ( specially Otman ). I would recommend the hotel, definitely will go back

Located close to the desert and halfway between the tourist district and the town centre, Residence El Arich welcomes you in an elegant building and is 3 kilometres from the airport only. When I arrived I received a very nice welcome from the gentleman at reception, who offered me a choice of two rooms to see which I preferred. I was happy with my quiet room looking towards the garden. It was cleaned very well and the bed was comfortable. The fridge worked fine. There were different spaces to sit outside the hotel, including a little garden area at the back. The town is easy walking distance, as is the bus station and louage. The lady offering breakfast was kind and helpful, and I appreciated the simple but filling breakfast. Both the gentlemen on reception were so friendly and gave me advice on how to take the bus to Tunis. Thank you very much to all the team for helping me to have a good stay in Tozeur!

Situated just 49 km from Ong Jemel, Dar Yomma provides accommodation in Tozeur with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Very friendly people, and I loved the location right beside the oasis. It was still right beside town and easy to walk to everything, but felt like a beautiful retreat. I also loved breakfast beside the pool.

Maison D’Hote is a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Tozeur and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Golf de Tozeur. I stayed for four days as a woman traveling alone. When Taleb picked me up from the airport, I was in the throes of food poisoning. He picked up medicine for me and made me feel like part of the family. He took me around to tour several sites and meet friends of his once I was feeling better. I enjoyed sharing meals (and a carriage ride around the oasis and medina) with other guests, and watching music videos and "The English Patient" with Taleb. After a few days, even Whiskey the feisty cat was warming up to me. Highly recommend!
