It was the perfect location for a night on the Transfăgărășan. The hotel is a 15 minute drive away from the highest point of the road and Bâlea Lake. Our room had a view on a beautifull waterfall, which is a very relaxing sight to wake up too. Room had everything we needed and a good shower. Breakfast was simple but good, and the restaurant was decent and has a good variery of local dishes. Would recommend the Papanași and a shot of Pálinka for the cold mountain weather. Overall great stay and would love to come back!

Stayed at the loft (2 bedroom) which was located at the top of the cabin, super clean and comfortable with wonderful views of the lake. Perfect location to spend the night if doing the Transfagarasan in two days, we were coming from the South. The hotel restaurant was surprisingly out of this world, grilled meat to perfection and maybe one of the best papanasi I had in Romania. Cabin staff were super nice, and made the best to accommodate us.

We chose this accommodation to stop on our way to Transfagarasan. Upon our arrival, we received a cup of fresh berries, which was a very nice surprise. Kids loved the countryside life were the property is located. The hosts were very friendly, the apartment is amazing with all the amenities, very clean, parking right within property. Communication with the host was excellent and gave us clear directions. Highly recommended!

A great location for those who want to relax and travel around Transfăgărășan and other interesting places in central romania. Wonderful views, quiet location, spacious villa with a large terrace, closed area around the villa where your pet can walk. The villa has an attractive interior with various authentic devices that are used as decoration. In short, a great place and i will definitely come back here next season😍

This accommodation was very nice and stylish. We had a comfortable bed and a small terrace (balcony) on the ground floor. It was very quiet there, no noise from the street. This small newly built hotel is administered by Monica, a very friendly woman who helped us a lot with information about Transfagarasan and recommended a nice place to eat as well as places to see in the city. Her English was very good.

Casa Floare de Colt is located near the Transfăgărășan, so it's a great place to stay before or after the trip. The inner yard looked just great and there was a fridge you can keep your food in, as well as the table to dine outside. The host was very helpful and friendly even though we didn't speak Romanian :^) There was also a big parking spot in the inner yard.

Free Covered parking. Nice apartment, white theme. Rooms were good enough for friends and family. Very comfortable. Cooking facility and enough pan and utensils. Hot water in bathroom. 2 television. I stayed here to cover Transfagarasan road trip. I recommend for family and group of Friends. Book your stay without a second thought.

Good location, you can use it as a start point on the north Transfagarasan road. Parking is literally in 5 meters in front of apartment. Hosts are polite. You can use barbecue, if you'd like to. Beautiful view from the territory. Bears may come to visit you at night, so keep the doors closed :)

The hotel is a good spot to stay the night and start the next morning on the Transfagarasan road. Balea lake is 45-minute drive, and you can get there before the crowds arrive. This place had good lemonade and the best omelette I had all week at different breakfast places in hotels in Romania.

Big and spacious common kitchen, well equipped to take breakfast or to prepare a meal. Clean apartment with a cool wooden design. A cozy open terrace on the upper floor for chilling, reading and playing around for kids. The location is convenient to start the Transfagarasan trip.

Great stay after long day on Transfăgărășan road. We had 2 double beds. The flat is very clean and spacious. The staff really friendly and helpful. We get treat with nice tasty coffee and tea. The parking lot adjacent to the hotel building. The is a play yard for the kids.

We were two adults and two kids (11 and 12 y/o) and stayed for one night, as we finished the transfagarasan. The apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Location is great. For the price we paid this is a very good deal.

The atmosphere in the garden was so good, we didn't want to leave. Good place to stay if you drive the Transfagarasan from north to south. Ariana was a warm and smiling person. Wish we could stay longer, but we are travelling other places in Romania.

The hotel is well located if you are in your way to or from Transfagarasan. It's also very close to the Monastery. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food in the restaurant was delicious as well as breakfast.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this Inn for anyone visiting the Transfăgărășan scenic road in Romania.

Placed on the tremendous Transfagarasan route this tourist complex is a decent option for an overnight. Breakfast is rich and excellent. Spacoius balcony with rural mountain view

Hotel located at the trout farm with the view of Transfagarasan Mountains. Pure nature. Nice restaurant with local specialities-mostly fish. Very tasty breakfast. Large parking.

Nice and clean rooms, friendly host who unfortunately speaks only romanian and russian gave us directions to very good restaurant. Great location to start Transfagarasan road.

The room was spacious and comfortable, like the bathroom! If you want to do the Transfăgărășan, it is the perfect spot to start your journey :)
