Great room with a lovely view over the little harbour and waddenzee. Very stylish decorated and yet functional. Surely we will come back here next year.

Located 8 km from Vlieland's harbor and centre, Hotel Posthuys offers non-smoking accommodations and an eatery open during the day. Great. 7km track starts next door. Beach is 0.5km away. No other hotels in the area. Stars at night - low light pollution. Feels fresh (built in 2004).

However, this was removed from my bills, as I had chosen it during my booking. The lady at the reception was wonderful. The room was nice, clean and quiet. However, the bed was too soft for me. I like a hard mattress.

The Hotel DoniaState offers modern guest rooms, each with a private terrace or balcony with a view of the surrounding dunes and forests. The North Sea beach is a 10-minute walk away. The location is great (can be reached within 15 minutes walk from the ferry), and the area is very nice and quiet. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to check in very late (9 pm). Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel

Badhotel Bruin, nestled between the dunes and the mudflats on Vlieland, offers Boutique-style rooms with private bathrooms. This hotel dates from 1896 and features free WiFi throughout the property. Great central location, very friendly staff. It was very quiet when we stayed so breakfast was specially prepared for us which was lovely. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. And the hotel is very dog friendly, first time that any accommodation I stayed in provided a proper dog bed.
