Hofker, in the village of Nes on the tranquil island of Ameland, offers rooms with a balcony. It features a tennis court and indoor swimming pool with sauna and solarium. The service is wonderful, the staff is very and honestly friendly, helpfull and always there for the guests. The rooms are very clean and spacious for the price you pay. In Ameland I think they are the biggest rooms you can get in a hotel. It is a 3 star hotel, but everything is at least a 4-5 star rating. The breakfast is divers and extensive enough. The swimming pool is very nice and a very nice bonus on those rainy days. Location is wonderful, you are in the middle of Nes, with 20-30 restaurant on walking distance. The beach is a 20 minutes walk, but as most of the people rent a bicycle in Ameland it is a 5-10 minutes trip. All in all the almost perfect stay in Ameland!!!!

Hotel Nes is centrally located on Ameland and has just been refurbished. Only 700 meters from the beach and the village Nes. The woods and dunes are also nearby. I truly enjoyed everything. Thanks

This 3-star hotel is located in the centre of Nes, just a 2-minute drive from the ferry. You can relax in the garden or on the terrace. De Jong offers free Wi-Fi and newspapers. The place is really nice. Wonderful location, excellent staff, very good breakfast included (which was highly appreciated). The restaurant is very good. Highly recommended overall.
