RussiaI really like everything! The hotel is very clean. My room was very clean and it felt very new. I guess it is newly built hotel. There is restaurant on the ground floor. It is too rated on google maps and I can tell for sure it is. Especially given the fact that lot of guests from other hotels come to have a meal there. I found the buffet very basic which for me was fine. However also I ordered a lot from the menu. Prices are good and even they have variety of Indian meals. Which I didn’t eat except of paratha. I just see on some of the reviews some customers complaint sometime because there is lack of Indian food. Not the case here.
Generally it is a very very small island. I have been already two time before in different locations. This is so far the smallest island I have ever been.
The weather was 50/50 sunshine and rain, it didn’t make my impression of the island bad because I found beauty in the rain. I live in the dessert so I missed rain.
There is mini bar, kettle, tea/coffee, amenities in WC on the room. They check your room 2 times a day for water replenishment and cleaning. Like I said it was very cost and clean. Worth the money.

But from the first minute i stepped on the island there was a hotel staff member who picked me up, took my backpack and led me to the hotel. After a welcome drink I was provided with the room keys and short explanation how everything works.
Buffet breakfast is nice even with fruit and cakes and they alter it every day. Hotel also provides nice snorchelling excursions.

It’s obvious the hotel owners invested wholeheartedly - they organized transfer pickup to and from Male in a quality smooth speedboat (which made a huge difference compared to other local speedboats). Hotel restaurant was best value and quality food compared to other restaurants in the island. We ordered food multiple times directly to our room. Staff were really friendly and attentive - many thanks to onu and zhidan.

It was better than we expected! All started even before the trip, in Booking messages where the staff asked more so they can prepare for us even better (our food limitations, date and time of arrival and departure, any preferences and requests, ...). When we arrived we were greeted by our lovely host Sony and she was our person to go to for any questions and requests. Each day you would get a message from her with the day's plan and program. The island is quite big and you can walk, see and use quite of facilities - few a la carte restaurants, beach bar, coffee shop, water sports, snorkeling point, gym, sauna and more. The food was really nice. We fell in love with the fresh fruits since e.g. that taste of pineapple you wont get anywhere (or other fruits). Quite of varierities in the food, while some were repeated but we loved it anyway so no problem for us. Regarding the fresh water you would get 1.5 litre of bottled water in every meal. We had full board so you can have at up to 4.5 litres of fresh water only from that. The rest was in our apartment where our lovely mister Pradeep filled every day during the apartment cleanup. We usually had 4 or 5 glass bottles (1 litre each) and this depends on your water consumption, but the thing is - it's included and not additionally charged. You can buy same bottled water you drink in the main restaurant but it is not really needed. I am writing about the water since I read quite of concerns in other resorts and islands. Back to mr Pradeep. Usually there are 2 cleanups in a day, but for us this was overkill so we decided with Pradeep to have only one. But he would clean your apartment twice if you ask him without any issues. Our request was mostly for clean towels, new fresh water and toiletries if needed. But you would get bed cleanup, floor in the apartment and outside along with the pool deck sweeping, along with other clothes folds if lying on bed.

From the moment we arrived at *Kandima Maldives*, we were blown away by the beauty of the resort and the warmth of the staff. The island is a true paradise—crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and stunning overwater villas. The resort is not only visually breathtaking but also offers top-notch facilities and exceptional service.
The *accommodation* was beyond our expectations—spacious, luxurious, and with incredible views of the turquoise lagoon. The attention to detail in the rooms was perfect, and we truly felt like we were in a private oasis.
A special mention goes to the *restaurants*—the food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of international and local dishes to choose from. Whether we were enjoying a romantic dinner by the beach or a casual meal at one of the many dining spots, every meal was a delight.
The *activities* offered were amazing! From water sports like snorkeling, diving, and kayaking, to the relaxing spa treatments, there was something for everyone. The resort also provides entertainment and excursions that made our stay even more memorable.
What truly stood out was the *service*. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always with a smile and eager to assist with any request. Every interaction felt personal, and we felt truly cared for throughout our stay.
Kandima Maldives is a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. We can't wait to return!

The experience was superlative. The best buffets we have ever enjoyed. Lots of great options. Service staff as friendly and attentive. Our over-the-water-bungalow was wonderful. The beach was among the best three in our 35 years of travel. Despite it being a very intentionally luxe vacation, Ayada represented great value.

There are plenty of water activities and options to choose from. The people are very friendly, and I felt extremely safe throughout my stay. The only downside is that evenings are very quiet, with limited nightlife or entertainment.

The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The sand bank and bikini beach were beautiful. Nice that US dollars are accepted but annoying that the $ needs to be pristine. Request speed boat for whale shark excursion. Nice variety of restaurants.

Ukulhas has a wonderful house reef next to Bikini beach...
Ukulhas has a wonderful house reef next to Bikini beach which is beautiful and plenty of places to sit in the beach in the sun or shade all day. Great access to snorkeling and other water excursions. Other than that, not much to the island. Walked around the whole island and really sad to see how unkept the public areas are. Other than bikini beach and house reef, not much to do.

The people that work there in the island are very genuine...
The people that work there in the island are very genuine and polite and helpful, always smiling. They make your time there very pleasant. Don’t forget to tip them. Jr and Anastasia from the club house coordinators are amazing and multi talented individuals. Don’t miss their daily sport activities by the pool.
