The location is great, one street away from the center but very peaceful and safe and I had an amazing sleep. Mr Kong is very knowledgeable about lao history (and world current affairs) and he took the time to tell us about all that in details. He and his family are so nice and available for questions. I would come back with no hesitation

The Hillside Residence is located in Xieng Khouang Province in Northern Laos. Just one km away from the city center, it offers free parking and peaceful countryside accommodations. The patron was absolutely marvellous! So friendly and always willing to help. The family succeeded to create a cosy atmosphere, bit like a living room at home. Great breakfast and great support to explore the area. We were lucky to celebrate Hmong new year, which was a surprise and a gift.
