Central Location in Vagator, close to other hip restaurants and bars in Vagator Super clean and new as it only opened a couple months prior to our stay; the best thing is the pool and pool bar, the spa is also excellent as it is very private, relaxing and very clean and professional The breakfast is vast and everything is extensive delicious, includes local, Indian Asian and European/continental breakfast, but also sweets and a chocolate fountain Overall the service is what made it so special, it’s more than attentive, it’s personalised and very professional, you can contact the staff via the he frontdesk, phone or even WhatsApp

The bright and hospitable owner-manager makes staying here a treat. Lucio has an MBA and it appears that he must have majored in customer service. He helped me get an Indian SIM card and a long-distance taxi to my next destination. I especially liked the quality loaner bicycles that made it ever so easy to get to the beach.-

HALF Hotel, Calangute offers rooms in Calangute near Candolim Beach and Calangute Beach. With a garden, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Had an excellent experience. Good location a bit apart from the main strip, calm and quiet. Cleanliness is very much above the average compared to regular Indian hotel’s picture of “cleanliness”. Rooms are neat and comfortable to stay in. Staff is doing their real best to provide guests with caring and thoughtful service. Nice breakfast that would keep us full for at least half a day. Pool is tiny but still just enough for a morning or night refreshing swim. Any services requested would be provided, any issues would be handled. Booking pictures match what you actually find in the hotel. Located right between Calangute and Candolim, you can take a bus or taxi or bike ride to wherever you need quite easily. I’d recommend considering this place for you stay in Calangute.

Rauhallinen kaunis Palolem!
Palolem on erittäin turvallinen paikka. Ellet ole käynyt muualla Intiassa, haluan kertoa, että Goa ei ole tyypillistä Intiaa. Mutta mahtava paikka on Palolem. Pohjois-Goaan en matkustaisi. Palolem sopii henkilöille, jotka eivät halua asua loistohotellissa eikä halua uida uima-altaassa, vaan meressä. Turvallista!

Too much peddlers.
Too much peddlers. Kinda hard to relax, or read a book when someone is all the time trying to sell you some rubbish. And those peddlers always start their chatting: "you are so white!" 🙄 3-4 days is just enough in this place. If you want to relax, I recommend Palolem beach, or other places in south Goa. There is a lot fewer peddlers and hustle.
