We stayed here over the weekend when our friends were getting married in Rock about 20 mins or so away. St Tudy Inn have got it absolutely spot on! From the moment we got there we were looked after SO well! It was a very friendly welcome from the staff on arrival and there was really relaxing acoustic music on in the background in the bar/restaurant which helped us completely calm down after a long journey. We loved the decor throughout; country modern featuring work by local artists and log fires 😍 Everything was pristine clean! We slept really well - the beds were very comfortable and the sheets were of good quality. The room had everything we wanted. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We had the full English on the first day and the next day we had salmon and poached eggs. It was all very fresh and well presented and really added to our conclusion that the stay as a whole was good value! The location was perfect - it was a small and authentic feeling village but with beautiful beaches and other towns nearby such as Polzeath, Rock and Port Isaac. The staff were really good people who cared about us and what they were providing for guests. They absolutely and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. We will definitely go back (we plan to in the winter when the cosy log fires are on if not before!) and have already recommended St Tudy Inn to our friends.

Loved the ambience, the food, that setting. A special shout-out to our waiter at lunch and dinner, Ricardo, and the restaurant manager ( sadly I don’t know her name) consummate professionals both. Coming from Australia, where pet-friendly places are slowly appearing, what a joy for me to see them welcomed on the terrace and some rooms. My friend and dog stayed in the Garden Room. Wonderful decor and immense outdoor space. If you are planning a visit, don’t hesitate. You will not be disappointed. Thank you, Tresanton.

Quizá demasiado llena de turistas en verano. No es la típica población costera y tranquila del norte de Europa. Por lo demás, al margen de que está muy orientada al turismo, la ciudad tiene su encanto, si te abstraes del mercadeo. Las playas son fantásticas, tiene varios restaurantes francamente interesantes y está en un enclave perfecto para moverse por Cornualles teniéndola como base. La gente es amable.

I live locally to the hotel but have aways walked past it never stayed there . My partner and l wanted a night away from home and the hotel far exceeded our expectation. We had the most amazing view and because it was out of season, it was wonderfully quiet without the hustle and bustle of too many tourists. We will be going back for sure.

Relaxed place and surrounded by hills and only accessible via narrow roads so ‘tourists’ are seldom. Beautiful nature just outside the door/ window, and a picturesque harbour. Very friendly staff. Delicious food options offered too. From breakfast to dinner.

There was not very much we did not like about our stay, we asked to change rooms due to noise and without hesitation, we were upgraded and had a balcony sea view. The breakfasts were fresh and more than adequate. We had guests from outside the hotel join us for breakfast and they were well received. Our visits to the spa were timed to be at the quieter parts of the day and we always left feeling refreshed and energised.
