Such an incredible experience! Feels like living inside the jungle! The stuff of the hotel were super nice! Big thanks to the chef Pablo who was amazingly nice and made for us the greatest food! We will definitely come back :)

Ubytovanie Ocean Forest Ecolodge má 3 hviezdičky a nachádza sa v destinácii San Pedrillo pri mori. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii záhradu, spoločenskú miestnosť a terasu. Truly paradise. We arrived and immediately experienced watching baby turtles enter the sea. It was not too difficult to get there (though it takes some effort); we were there with 69 and 72 year-old parents and they did fine! We had the garden cabin from which we could watch monkeys and toucans eating in a tree while laying in our hammocks. The yoga building is beautiful and there are lots of nice nooks to lay and read. We also got to use the surfboards one afternoon. Plenty of places to hike and things to do. The staff was very warm and helpful. Great vibes.

Offering an outdoor pool, beautiful gardens and a bar-restaurant, LagunaVista Villas is located 200 metres from the beach by boat or kayak across the lagoon. The view from our room was stunning. We saw monkeys, Macaws and crocodiles (from a safe distance!). A truly wonderful experience.

Bolita Trails and Lodging offers accommodation in Dos Brazos de Rio Tigre, 14 km from Puerto Jimenez. The property offers 14 kilometers of hiking trails, adjacent to Corcovado park. I came as a guest and decided to stay as a volunteer. I sincerely enjoyed my time soaking in the nature and wildlife. There is so much hiking you can do, I recommend staying at least a few nights to enjoy it thoroughly. A special thanks to Ron the owner for his kindness and the other volunteers and guests for a beautiful experience. I look forward to coming again!

Dario and Frederica have set up something special here in Dos Brazos, near the Corcovado National Park. Set in the heart of the jungle, in a lovely small Gold Mining village this beautiful guest house is a fantastic place to stay. Great welcome, the most comfortable bed, shower and space of our trip so far. A lovely fresh breakfast, great self catering facilities (but Frederica is a chef and will cook your dinner). Watching the jungle birds from their deck was a true joy. They went out of their way to book us a guide for a day exploring the jungle - a shout out to Jose who was a brilliant tour guide to the jungle. He grew up in the village, was fantastically knowledgeable about animals, history and Costa Rican life. Speaking excellent English. He is also a great artist - get him to show you the furniture he makes. Dos Brazos is also worth a mention such a lovely little village, the residents there welcomed guests so warmly, everyone we met had a smile and hola. Try the homemade ice creams advertised from small house! Perfect treat after a hot walk. La Casita means little house, but this is a little house with a big heart thanks to Dario and Frederica’s love and attention to detail. Great location to allow you explore the wilderness of nature while enjoying the modern comfort. The hosts are a very friendly and helpful couple. When we were leaving, I said to Nony, I don’t want to return the key to you because my heart wants to stay here.

Ubytovanie Kinkajoungalows - Amaya Family, Drake Bay, Osa Peninsula sa nachádza niekoľko krokov od miesta Pláž Playa Rincón. Hostia tu majú k dispozícii reštauráciu, záhradu, terasu a bar. Sam and his family were really welcoming. We loved staying there. The bungalow was surrounded by nature and so close to the beach. The food was very nice too. Would highly recommend :-)

Ubytovanie Casa Bolita sa nachádza v destinácii Dos Brazos a ponúka súkromný bazén, terasu a výhľad na bazén. Ubytovanie ponúka výhľad na rieku a výhľad na záhradu. What a slice of heaven. Secluded yet safe in the jungle, this perfectly appointed house has all the amenities- comfortable beds, mosquito nets, great lounging areas and then.. the best of all.. a gorgeous pool where we saw monkeys playing overhead, not to mention the macaws and toucans. From the river side lookout deck we could watch the gold miners on their morning trek up the river searching for treasure. The grounds are beautiful with pineapple, avocado, lime and banana trees. Val and Ron are amazing hosts who made sure the Yeti cooler had blocks of ice to keep our food cold. Coming from the city it was incredible to realize how easy it is to live off the grid. The solar panels provided enough power to charge our phones and have light in the evening. We had amazing adventures walking to the nearby waterfall, walking up the river and exploring the Bolita trails. There are a couple of very cute and harmless bats in the guest bedroom who left each evening before we went to bed, returning home in the morning. The windows have no screens or glass so you really feel you are living in the jungle but there was a surprising lack of biting insects. This really is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the jungle- the best high end “glamping” I have ever experienced.
