Food and location were excellent, staff friendly and helpful, Dan in particular is a star. Room 5 was recently decorated and the Bathroom had a very large walk-in shower that was 5 stars for power and temperature complete with heated towel rail.
+ Nice retro-style decorations. + Superb breakfast with lot of choices for eating and coffee available from machine. + Outstanding friendliness for pets! We've chosen this hotel for travel with our dog following other reviews and we haven't mistaken about it. The hosts even provided us a separate breakfast space, so our dog could join us too. If I come to Anglesey again, I won't think twice of re-booking it.
The room was a great size, lovely double bed quite comfortable. The breakfast and pub food was very good, the chicken curry chefs kiss!
Breakfast was delicious, the chef was outstanding, he couldn't do enough for us. Live singer on Friday night, the atmosphere was fabulous.
The room was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was again excellent. Dinner was superb, compliments to the chef. Overall a very friendly and comfortable stay.
The hospitality was amazing, they couldn’t do enough for us. The food was fantastic, breakfasts were superb, the coffee machine was top quality (the best coffee we have ever had). We noticed that all the meats etc were top quality. Exceptionally understanding with people who have special needs and would have no problem in staying there again.
5 stars accomodation, everything new, clean, modern.
Location superb. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Our room was perfect with a huge bed, sofa, deluxe bathroom and beautiful views from our terrace of the Menai strait. Would highly recommend
Super simple breakfast home made bread , solicitous hosts, friendly , kind, helpful. My only slight reservation was that the bathroom was upstairs. I had booked in a hurry and didn’t notice, but everything else way exceeded my expectations, this is a delightful family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying and would recommend 100%. I thought the area was very interesting (copper mine, history of Amlwch) and there’s an amazing Indian restaurant just down the road. Superb, totally 5 stars!
I loved the people. The hosts Veronica and Gary went our of their way to make you feel welcome. The hotel was an eclectic mix of memorabilia, all of which had a back story, which demonstrated a pride of place. The staff shared that warmth as did the locals in the bar. The food was plentiful, the quality was superb. The reputation of the chef was high and completely warranted. The special was locally caught fish cooked to perfection. Gary was heard to say to one guest we strive to give Value for Money - they certainly do that.
