Ubicato a Colmar, sulla Via dei Vini d'Alsazia, il James Boutique Hôtel Colmar centre è un hotel boutique che vanta arredi moderni e attuali, un bar in loco e un parcheggio privato in loco. La struttura si trova in un'ottima posizione appena fuori dal centro storico, ma praticamente a quattro passi da esso, comodissimamente raggiungibile a piedi. Le camere sono moderne, pulitissime e, cosa che non guasta affatto, anzi!, silenziosissime, pur essendo sulla strada (come la nostra). Lo staff alla reception giovane e molto cordiale. Con esso abbiamo avuto qualche simpatico siparietto dovuto al fatto che non parlassero italiano e noi masticassimo pochissimo inglese, ma alla fine ci siamo intesi. L'À Sel Colmar sorge in una posizione ideale nel centro di Colmar, a breve distanza dalla Chiesa Collegiata di Saint-Martin, dalla Casa... La struttura è centralissima, con ogni comfort. Camille è stata pronta a soddisfare ogni nostra richiesta, veramente un’ottima host.

Il Gîte Au Grès du marché si trova a La Petite-Pierre. Il bed & breakfast offre una TV a schermo piatto e un bagno privato con asciugacapelli, set di cortesia e doccia. I don't even know how to start expressing the enthusiasm after staying in this place. First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. In real life, the place is much more beautiful than the pictures. The property is so beautifully designed and arranged and it's a mixture of very modern design with traditional/keeping it's origins. Beautiful! Spotless clean! There is also a common area on the ground floor, to hang out, and a fully equipped kitchen (with a big fridge). There is also a coffee machine and tea maker. In the area there aren't many options for grocery shopping, as the place is rather remote, so, make sure you come prepared in case you do not want to eat out. There are restaurants opened in the village center, in case the restaurant from the hotel is not opened. Oh, and the other shops in the village and around usually open around 10:00 (la boulagerie though, was opened around 06:00 or 07:00 - I cannot remember exactly as I was blinded by the tastiness of those amazing gorgeous products that I purchased from them, hehehehe). The breakfast was soooooo delicious. And the croissants....divine! There was also a huge range of local honey and local jams (all absolutely amazing). The bread was perfection as well. Another thing that I found amazing was the how the owner would switch from speaking French, to speaking English, to speaking German! There are plenty of things to do in and around this little gem of a village, so I would definitely return for a longer stay, to also go hiking around the area.

Everything was perfect! The apartment was large and very comfortable with excellent air conditioning. The location was even better. It was very easy to find and check in, thanks to the wonderful and very responsive host. The use of a parking pass was an added bonus.
