It's not often you get to stay in a one-month old hotel, but this one is brand new (late September-early October 2022). It is hidden away on a side street in a small forgettable village, which keeps it quiet at night. It's all new and absolutely spotless, and includes a nice spa and wonderful sauna and two hot tubs on the ground floor, and access across a lawn to a 7-pool swimming and hot spring water resort (which is not new and is shared with an adjacent camp ground). Rates include dinner, and the wine list is quite reasonable and includes some wines made in the same and in the next village. Both dinner and buffet breakfast were good if not quite gourmet. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, all bilingual in Hungarian and German. (Don't know about English because I speak both Hungarian and German, never tried English).

The area is full of great wineries and there is a beautiful lake in a walking distance. Personal attention from the hosts, it was above expectations. We will definitely come back!

Super comfortable reasonably firm beds. Easy 10-minute access to Sopron by bus. A great lake for fishing within a 5-minute walk. Fantastic place to spend time with family and friends. The restaurant Rusterhof is 100 metres away. Excellent location, family ambient, very clean rooms. The hotel has few own parking spots but the parking around the hotel on the streets is posible free of charge. The staff was very friendly and hepful from the arrival to the check-out. We left the hotel feeling like we were visiting family. ❤️ The breakfast selection was very good, tasty and served to the table in the cosy ambient of the rose garden. The food choice was very diversified, with fresh vegetables and fruits and in the right amount.

This renovated winery is over 100 years old. It features a courtyard with a herbal garden, a wine cellar, and a cooking school. The design features, including landscaping, were special and really added to our enjoyment. We have already recommended the stay to our architecture/art friends. Property looked new and is looked after immaculately. Breakfast was outstanding with many homemade interesting products, all served in a setting as good as a restaurant in a 5-star hotel. There was a lower level room (down a very steep ramp for bikes) that was locked so bikes were undercover and very secure.
