My wife and myself have been visiting inn on the lake for some years now and are never disappointed. We usually visit in the winter months but having now visited in the spring and explored all the walks local we loved it even more. It’s a real hidden gem, do not be deceived by the initial location because you will not be disappointed when you get there. We usually go for the lakeside ground floor rooms and I would advise everyone do this when they stay.
I have stayed at Innkeepers Maidstone on a few occasions and I always find the stay very comfortable
Great atmosphere in historic inn. Staff welcoming and friendly. Stayed here before and service always good.
Totally recommend the Innkeepers Lodge and Gate Inn. Rooms are lovely and clean and food is amazing. Will definitely be back!!
This is an "old school" guest house, not a boutique type estBlishment. Our room was an adequate size with a small but perfectly functional en-suite. The bed was comfortable. Our breakfast was just what we wanted it to be. Our hostess was lovely! Very friendly and helpful. She also recommended a great restaurant for dinner (Rosemont). The next time we need an overnight stop on our way to France, we will certainly stay here again.
charming inn in a beautiful place (Kent downs). do not miss this rustic yet comfortable establishment ! it will enlighten your roadtrip and the staff is one of the kindest we’ve ever met. Got Covid and they reimbursed everything for when I left.
Very central for visiting many NT properties in lovely part of Kent. Good combination of historic inn with modern facilities. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was stylish and very clean with comfortable king size bed. Many little touches like bottles of fresh water and milk and brownies on arrival. This is an AA 4* Inn and was a reasonable rate at £100 night. Would consider booking again if in the area.
Lovely historic Inn dating back to Richard II. Caring staff. Good quality breakfast and dinner. Nice bedrooms. Good base for exploring the east Kent coast (Whitstable and further afield). A relaxing stay in the Sun Inn; could have done with a few more nights to fully unwind. Faversham is a nice small and quiet town to relax in and enjoy the local pubs for a civilised pint or two.
Lovely old English inn with beamed ceiling, full of rustic charm . Our room with four poster bed was clean and very comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff were lovely.
