The "Sculpture Yard" private garden cottage is on the same premises as a sculptor’s residence and studio area. It has a separate entrance and dedicated secure parking for one vehicle on the property. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. It is located in an older quiet residential suburb, central and close to convenient shopping malls and other amenities. We have an attractive and welcoming place to share and trust that your stay with us will be relaxed and enjoyable. The Sculpture Yard cottage has an open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, a private bedroom, full bathroom with shower in the bath. This spacious self-catering garden cottage with full kitchen is located on secure property surrounded with many artworks, mainly sculptures that give the space a distinct artistic creative character. The kitchen is spacious and equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave and an induction hotplate for self catering The unit is furnished with an eclectic mixture of furniture. There are ample clean cupboards in the kitchen as well as in the bedroom which makes the space suitable and convenient for a longer stay. Please not that we have dogs living on the premises.

The Sculpture Yard is situated in a quiet older residential area called Rietfontein in Pretoria. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, situated within 5km radius of two of Pretoria's biggest hospitals Steve Biko and Eugene Marais Hospital. It is a residential area but with the convenience of big retail malls, many good restaurants, the Hatfield Gautrain Station, and the N1 highway within a 2-10 km radius. For tourists, our neighbourhood is close to some of the major visiting sites of Pretoria. e.g. The Voortrekker Monument, the Union Buildings, Freedom Park, and the Pretoria Botanical Garden. Other facilities and academic institutions within 5-10 km radius includes: The University of South Africa(UNISA), University of Pretoria and Tshwane University of Technology (TUT). For visitors looking for a nature experience, the property is within 2-hour drive from Pilanesberg National Game Reserve, and many other conservation facilities.
