The staff went above and beyond to decorate the room for our honeymoon. We also appreciated that they packed us sandwiches and fruit since our checkout was before their breakfast time location is very central, but they have good soundproofing so you don’t hear the noises of the city, lots of shopping nearby, as well as bars about 10 minute walk away. We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar, nice view and you get 20% off during happy hour.

I stayed in the old qtr - weekend night market, lively, or relaxing. Water puppet show was great. Sights and food, plus cheap shopping. Don't pay for baggage on the plane and having to lug around a huge suitcase when you can get washing done for you anywhere in Vietnam (also gives locals work) and you can buy cheap clothes just for the trip if needed. Same for almost anything needed to stay fresh and clean. Hire a scooter and do it on your own or do tours - choices are all open. Make loose plans on what/where to go but wait until their to book a lot of things because it's so easy to get around, book for next day, etc (it was when I was there because it wasn't as busy as later in the year and other factors like wars, covid and inflation keeping a lot of people at home instead of abroad).

Fabulous atmosphere..very walkable and lovely friendly people. Most of the food was good but not as good as I thought it would be..some of it was bland. The lake area is very nice and picturesque. I purchased 2x glasses there which were excellent quality. Loved our time in Hanoi.

Old Quarter Hanoi is AMAZING! LOVELY, kind people.
Old Quarter Hanoi is AMAZING! LOVELY, kind people. Stay by the lake, this area becomes a pedestrian area 3 nights a week and is such fun, great night market! lots of Food, restaurants, shopping right out side your door. I would most highly recomend the Le Selva Premium Hotel, amazing place to stay!
We did side trips to Sapa and Ha Long bay, both of which are a MUST see. Lots of cheap, wonderful Massage. Recommend getting a hair wash, 1/2 hour for 4 dollars! Heavenly. Lots of historical sites as well. Also, GET THE COLD COCONUT coffee! at Vi Anh Coffee. THE MOST delicious coffee ever! LOVE YOU HANOI!

The people are warm and friendly but walking around the city is difficult and tiresome due to the footpaths being full of motorcycles and street venders, and the non stop traffic and its honking horns.

Hanoi is a vibrant bustling city with great food, shopping and of course plenty of culture to immerse yourself in. The locals were friendly, helpful and offered plenty of smiles and hello's. A great location from which to see all the jewels of Northern Vietnam. The cuisine is a smorgasbord of pretty much anything you could ask for especially at night when the streets are crammed with tables, DJs and spruikers, quite a fun spectacle!

An authentic city, very busy, vibrant, sometimes crazy.
An authentic city, very busy, vibrant, sometimes crazy. The traffic is terrible- bike riders ignore rules and traffic lights. The weather is very humid, can be unbearable in the afternoon. Food and souvenirs are cheap. People are friendly, surprisingly can understand English and even say something (so you can be understood.)
Hotel was very clean and much more luxurious than others we had stayed in in Hanoi.
The staff were all very helpful, and helped us with any questions about the area, organised our late night airport taxis, and booked a very last minute day trip for us that turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.
Buffet breakfast was good and there was a decent selection, though not the best we had in Vietnam it does the job.
Hotel was in a great location right on the centre of Old Quarter, and felt very safe and we felt taken care of.
Nice large rooms with large comfortable beds are the main plus of this nice hotel just outside of the Old Quarter. Staff is absolutely lovely. Laundry is excellent and cheap so if you need it on vacation this is the place to do it. About as quiet a place as you can find while being close to all the action. Also nice to come back to a place where the air is clean after wading through the air pollution in Hanoi. Make sure to explore the French Quarter behind the hotel, a bit less busy but still with great local food options.
Hanoi Victor Gallery Hotel is one of best hotel that we did to stay in Vietnam. We have beautiful room with nice decor, nice streets view. We did to booked Luxury package tour as : Ha Long bay 2 days 1 night + Ninh binh - Hang mua - trangan eco 1 day was excellent trip with great deal. Hotel location is perfect in heart of old quarter, nice gallery, silk shop next door hotel, close to many nice place. Their staffs was very friendly, nice and polite, elegance. We're highly recommend Hanoi Victor Gallery hotel & Spa ****
Friendly staff and they went over and beyond in making sure we were well taken care of. They even packed us breakfast for our early morning domestic flight at 7am which was very thoughtful and kind of them. I would absolutely 100% recommend this hotel it’s literally right outside the markets and the surrounding streets are always bustling with people which provides an exciting atmosphere. Close to all the best eating and drinking spots in Old quarter Hanoi. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel 🤩🤩🤩
The owner, Lum (sorry of if I haven’t spelt this right) couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. He upgraded us to a large room in a second hotel he’s just bought nearby. He made sure we had the best visit possible in Hanoi . I’ve never seen such a well equipped room - from dressing gowns to razors and food.
The room was spacious and clean, and the location was fabulous , in the old quarters, everything walkable yet slightly away from the very touristy bit and near the night market. Perfect.
We used the hotel as our base in Hanoi to travel around north Vietnam. The hotel is in a great location in the old quarter with very clean rooms and a great breakfast but what made our stay so special was Ms Kim. Ms Kim is so friendly and she helped organise our trips for us to Nimh Binh and Halong Bay and bother we’re just perfect. We would highly recommend using this hotel for your visit to Hanoi and having Ms Kim help you plan your trip. She is the best!
Our stay at Lheritage Diamond in the Old Quarters in Hanoi was a wonderful experience. An unassuming entrance led into a classy boutique hotel. The room was spacious and I adored the decor. But what made this hotel really special were its people. Sabi at reception was delightful and shared tips on how to get the best out of staying in the Old Quarters.
Thank you, Lheritage Diamond hotel for making our trip to Hanoi so memorable.
Luxury Old Quarter Hotel had the best staff of any hotel we’ve stayed in for many years! The warmth of the welcome given by Mr. Huy Manager and all his reception staff was truly exceptional. All the staff in the hotel deserve high praise as they were professional and friendly despite being busy. The rooms were clean comfortable and well equipped with the best bed and pillows in Vietnam! We can’t praise it all highly enough.
We stayed for 3 nights during our trip in Hanoi and I would say this is one of the best properties to stay at old quarter. The staff was very friendly and even arranged the room early for us as we arrived early. The hotel is nearby to almost all places in the old quarter. The breakfast spread was nice and staff delivered everything we asked for. Would love to stay here again!!!
Hotel location was terriifc - short walking distnce to lake, Old Quarter and French Quarter. The staff was over the top accomadiating! The rooms were very luxurious. The breakfast was the best we have ever had! Many options for any predietry preferences. Staff provided very good recommendations for tourist questions.
I wouldn't stay anywhere else on return visit to Hanoi!
Its a prime location for all touristy things in hanoi.
Also, the market places are just around the corner.
And hanoi night market is also walking distance.
The best part is this hotel has lift!! Its really difficult to find hotels in hanoi old quarters with lifts but this was it!
I will definitely come back here again for sure & will also suggest everyone to stay here
Hanoi victor Metropolis hotel & rooftop bar is top wonderful hotel in Hanoi old quarter, we did to stayed in Vietnam. Our room was nice - clean and great bathtub and very quiet. Their staffs was Professional, elegance, polite and Special Mrs. Ruby booked our Ha long bay trip and Sapa trip was excellent and good promotion. Hotel is perfect location. We like this hotel.
Best experience of three months Vietnam. The hosts are incredible friendly. The room was great and much more cozy and comfortable than the standard vietnam hotel room. The area is calm, everything you need is around the house and it's only a short walk to Hanoi Old Quarter.
Washing the laundry with the machine was no problem. Really nice lobby with kitchen and seats.
Great location in the old quarter of Hanoi. The rooms were extremely clean, spacious and light. The staff could not have been more polite or made us feel more welcome. They were the best thing about the hotel. Breakfast was also very nice, a good variety of options from traditional Vietnamese food to western options as well as fresh fruit.
Honestly can't write about this hotel, as the staff was extremely sweet and polite to shift us to their sister hotel Hanoi Silk Centre luxury Classic at old quarter, hona Kiem. My mother had disability and could not climb stairs to take elevator from level 1 and they shifted us to other hotel immediately.
Best hotel staff ever! They were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The hotel is also conveniently located in the heart of the Old Quarter so it was very easy to walk around to some of the attractions. I would love to stay here again when I come back to Hanoi. Highly recommend!
