We are Heather and Jarret Adams,owners of The Village Inn of Woodstock and The Vic Tavern. We take pride in our property and excellent customer service. Having worked in the hospitality and travel industry for over 30 years, we know what a great experience should look like! Our property is a relaxing place that many repeat guests come year after year. Being an inn and tavern for over 60 years, this property has attracted many guests from all over the world and close to home and continues to do so even now. The staff at The Village Inn love what they do and work hard to make sure you have a fabulous time. We are a farm to table inn and we purchase all the best and freshest ingredients we can from sellers in our area. At The Village Inn, we make memories so we hope you can come and make some with us!

Property info

Indulge in fabulous breakfasts, prepared to order by Chef Heather and served by our welcoming staff at individual tables by candle light and period music. Our fully restored Victorian mansion offers all rooms with private baths, individual heating/air conditioning, hair dryers, luxurious linens and amenities. A full service bar awaits our guests Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm. We have a beautiful garden with a fish pond and tables and chairs for you to enjoy. Our property is Victorian, but not a museum. We have modern amenities with wonderful bathrooms and modern furnishings.

Once you park your car in our private parking lot, you can walk to restaurants, boutique shops, art galleries, museums and more. There is a lot to do in Woodstock and in the surrounding towns. There are outdoor activities for every season. Woodstock has many activities, festivals and events that take place throughout the year. Our Winter Wassail Festival is rated one of the top things to do in New England in the winter! We have taste of Woodstock in the summer and a wonderful Hot Air Balloon festival nearby too. Just to mention a few.
