There is a lot to do, many options to spend your day.
There is a lot to do, many options to spend your day. Hotels are close to the Airport- minutes away. However, everything is expensive, we came from spending a few days in Cleveland and everthing in Queens was more expensive, especially food.

This was a good hotel for the proximity to JFK with a reasonable rate. The rooms are small, but the bed is comfortable and the rooms are very clean. The staff was friendly. We arrived very late, and it was a very smooth check-in.

The location was great and A train across from hotel.
The location was great and A train across from hotel. I wish I arrived 1 extra day to see Queens but we were there just 1 day and headed to Time Square. And in morning had to flight out for our trip. But the area near hotel was nice and looks to have local restaurants around area

There’s a worker there that told me that I can not sit in the lobby and drink my coffee because he said that the hotel policy which was not anywhere to be seen, nor did he show me, says that guests aren’t allowed to sit in the Hotel Lobby and wait or drink my coffee.
I don’t know what that means? Because at the time it was my second day there in this hotel and I was just trying to get my thoughts together and think, mind you it was a Racist comment, he continued to say that because there’s homeless people who have been coming in the lobby. I showed him my receipt and hotel key, and he said it don’t matter. I said okay and I don’t want to argue with you and left to go to my Booking.com application and made this message.

Given what I have seen on tv and in movies it did seem to meet the expectations. My journey via train was challenging especially carting 2 cases when I had to change at a station in order to reach my hotel.
The shops in the area are what they say, but didn't fully have what I was after.
The subway was frequent, however quite crowded at certain times of the day. It was also unsteady when travelling into the city.
The bonus of where i was, was i could see the empire state and various skyscrapers. Also I got a great view of the city with my journey by train both in the day and in the night.
I was glad that the trains did run through the night as I was there for new year and was better to commute back than paying for alternative transport.

Queens is a busy vibrant city.
Queens is a busy vibrant city. It is known as China Town, and has plenty of great Asian Restaurants to choose from. Queens has a Subway and LIRR Station. It is very close to La Guardia airport. There is also a Starbucks and McDonald's. It would not be easy to get around in a wheelchair.
I didnt know what to expect when i booked this Hotel. It was my first time in Long Island City. The neighborhood was great. There were stores and restaurants within walking distance. You cant beat the distance to the subway. The room was incredible. If i could afford it, I would absolutely stay there again. The design was pretty cool. The floor to ceiling windows and the curtains around the outside of the room were a clever and impressive design feature. The hotel is very stylish overall and I had an excellent experience.
Everytime we stay at this hotel everything is wonderful from the check-in to checkout, the front desk and all the employees are amazing , the rooms are big and clean with refrigerator and microwave and they clean the rooms everyday , the breakfast is the best we ever had at a hotel and the restaurant has the best Italian food we ever ate, and the airport shuttle is very good , this is the only hotel we stay in Everytime we come to NYC....
Really convenient for tourists, very clean and with a decent breakfast. There is a mini van that takes you from 21st queensbridge metro station to the hotel and vice versa without any extra money every day from 5:00 pm until 1:00 am so you do not have to walk .The metro station is within 8 minutes walk or 2 min by car. The staff is very polite and kind. All of them are really helpful and friendly. I totally recommend it.
Perfect location. Don't let the first block or 2 fool you once you walk towards Gantry Plaza State Park its a different world perfect location. Value for money for a hotel near Manhattan especially for someone travelling from Europe. Also near subway stations about 5 mins away. The Breakfast was OK for a quick snack on the go shame they don't do hot food like scrambled eggs etc. The staff were pleasant and friendly.
The hotel is very conveniently located close to a subway station which makes it easy to reach Manhattan very quickly and it takes about twenty minutes by public transport to reach La Guardia airport. Furthermore, this is an affordable and clean place to stay. But the best thing about this hotel is its staff. Everybody was incredibly kind and sweet.
The hotel is simple, clean and comfortable for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is 24 hour tea and coffee in the entrance. It is within easy access of La Guardia airport, either by taxi or by public transport. There are dozens of shops and restaurants in the area and Chinatown in Queens is very close by.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very, very friendly. the breakfast is basic but enough to fill the stomach at the beginning of the day. We are a family of four and we can strongly recommend this hotel for a short stay, we stayed two nights and it was perfect.
Long Island City was a nice area to stay in. The lobby of the hotel was well maintained. The bathrooms were up to date and the bed was comfortable. The cleaning staff were lovely and helpful but the front desk staff seemed annoyed by the guests. Rooms were clean..
The rooms are spacious by NYC standards. The hotel is conveniently located between Long Island City and Astoria. The restaurant on the first floor is great. The hotel room views and rooftop views provide a very unique and beautiful view of the the NYC skyline.
The lady who checked us in…name starts with an ‘A’, was great! She was welcoming and accommodating. She also gave great recommendations for food when we came in for the night. Breakfast was good, the waffles were the best we’ve had at any hotel!
The manager Silvia was one of the best hotel representative I have come across. She was very accommodating and made sure all of my requests were met. Even though I could only stay one night, i will certainly remember this hotel for future trips.
Price was good even for Queens, far less than what you pay in Manhattan and still reachable by subway.
Room was okey(ish), clean and relatively comfortable however, fairly noisy since the location of the hotel is right next to major highway
Felt far from a 4 start hotel, unhygienic, charmless, soulless and a bit sad. Loud industrial noise, leaks everywhere, gym looks like a shoe box and was so dirty. Definitely have stayed in much better places in the city for the same rate.
Amazing location close to times square. Excellent breakfast and Staff. We left jewelery in the room after check out and it was found and kept for us. We had 5 in a room and it was better priced compared to other 4 star hotels
Facility was recently refurbished and very nice. The continental breakfast was very skimpy at best. Also, arriving late the night before there was little food to purchase at the hotel and nothing nearby.
Great breakfast for my family for 4 nights.
I asked for water drainage repair but they kindly fixed it quickly.
I recommend this hotel for those who visit Queens.
The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our time. The room was great for our short stay. just what we needed for a night in Queens and close to the airport.
