Buffalo is a quintessential small, western town. Full of folks that exude that wonderful, warm "Western Hospitality" Wyoming is known for. If you are luck enough to be there this summer (July 18-21, 2024) be sure to stay over for Longmire Days. If you don't know Longmire, just keep on driving. Can't speak for other restaurants, but if you enjoy family dining and authentic Mexican food then try and get into Papa Binos for lunch or dinner. This is "FAMILY" dining for real. It's Papa's house with a limited number of tables and family members cooking, serving and the little ones running around in the yard. Terrific food!!!

We didn’t like that we didn’t get the room we booked and it was too late to cancel to find a different place! Also the room was dusted and dirt behind bathroom door that wasn’t ours!
Overall the place was okay and staff friendly. I especially liked the young man who provided the breakfast, he was very nice and helpful!

I stayed for one night during a long cross-country trip.
Check-in was quick, and the desk attendant referred me to a good restaurant nearby (one of the few that was open late on a Sunday night).
Wifi, TV, bed and shower were all excellent. Breakfast was ready when I woke up, and I was back on the road before 8.

Buffalo is a very nice little town with friendly people, lots of history, neat little shops, gorgeous scenery nearby and great food and lodging. I highly recommend it! The Occidental Saloon is a great place to eat. A drive to Ten Sleep is worth it as the scenery is incredibly beautiful. The Blue Gables Motel is a wonderful place to stay as it has Cabins and a place to cook outside and a fire in the fire pit in the evening. It is so charming.

Buffalo is an interesting town, that I usually just pass through on the way to somewhere else. A relative is moving there now, so was helping her move. Plan on checking out the local stores etc, this summer when we go to visit relatives.

Great little town loved the atmosphere and the people, the occidental hotel and saloon is a must see. Built in 1880, most of the bar is still original. The owners are wonderful people with tons of knowledge of the hotel history. If your looking for shopping Sheridan is only 35 minutes north and is another awesome western town in itself.
Z Bar was the bestest place for my dog & me! The lawn area in the middle of the loop was a savior after a couple of stressful days in dog training. It was VERY well maintained & I enjoyed the picnic tables & next time I stay I'll bring grilling supplies. The room had every amenity & the entire establishment was VERY quiet & at a great location. Very easy to chill out there. Staff friendly. Other customers & dogs very friendly.
Dan at the front desk was a riot, super helpful and kept things real. The pool area was immaculate. The water was not too hot and not to cold. The hot tub was super relaxing! Everything was incredibly clean and well maintained. The room was cozy and the air worked. Shower had plenty of hot water and everything was organized. The lobby was beautifully decorated and breakfast was ready super quick. I loved this hotel!
The location was a good in between stop for our family road trip and seemed to be a cute town. The hotel was an old apartment complex turned into hotel and was something different that I thought my family would enjoy. Sadly the extremely unprofessional and shady business practices as well as the rude owner Cindy soured our stay and my recommendation for anyone to ever do business with them.
The location was absolutely perfect beside the river. We could walk to breakfast at The Bee Cafe and alot of other amenities including the fabulous museum, saloon bar, restaurants, shops. It was nice to have plenty of space compared to a hotel room. It was very clean and the tv living room and bedroom, with Netflix.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning system worked well. The kitchen area was well stocked with dishes and silverware. We stayed only one night, but it would be very easy to stay longer. There was a note telling us some rhubarb bread was in the freezer, which was a very welcoming touch.
Not a real big breakfast eater but it made due for what I needed and my wife. Location of hotel was great for us. Liked the ideal as we travelled with a dog that my request for a ground floor room was granted. Nice that we also had a inside door to get to breakfast. Hotel has a elevator which most of them don't.
This is a gem of a place. Each room is decorated a little differently. Different from the usual chain hotels. We had several wonderful conversations with the owner, who ended up helping us resolve a minor inconvenience with a nearby restaurant. Small town business owners are the best!
Door to officevlocked and they wouldn't answer phone. I ended up driving to Aheridan to find a room with only 1 bed and only got 2 hours sleep because of how long it took to find another place to stay without being charged for this awful hotel
The hotel was so cute an with very upscale and cozy decor! The staff was so incredibly friendly and considerate. They helped us carry luggage up the stairs! The room was very comfortable and big for this being a 2-3 star hotel. Very impressed!
Nice cabin in Buffalo befitting the area, a little compact but good for a visit to see the surrounds. Easy parking and three screened opening windows inside. Outside pleasant central green area. Quite and clean, quick drive to downtown.
the hotel is very nice. the rooms are very inviting, clean and the amenities are wonderful. the breakfast bar was one the best I have had in any other hotels. staff are very pleasant. will definitely stay here again.
Located near the Interstate so easy to find and a short drive from downtown Buffalo for dining. There are fast food places near the motel. Buffalo is a nice little place to visit.
For the price I paid I honestly did not expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. These guys really try to make that old hotel work. Breakfast was great too!
Clean and spaceous room, good breakfast. Hotel location is good for highway, steakhouses nearby. Good choise from Rushmore to Yellowstone for one night.
