We returned a 2nd time this summer, mainly to enjoy the concerts each night. We loved The Apathetics....the other 2 nights, not as much. We also took in the fireworks Wednesday night. We were a fair walk to the beach, but reasonable.
The food on the strip is very expensive...your choice whether to buy it or make other plans.
The cars on the strip love to scream their engines, especially past our hotel area.

I went up for a concert at the Hampton Beach Casino and this property was a 5 minute walk away. Only needed 1 night and knew I wouldn't be spending much time in the room. It did have an outdoor balcony - that faced the wall of the building next door, but at least we got to sit outside when we were at the room. The property is "tired" - a bit run-down but for 1 night it was fine. The price was right for these factors.

The man who greeted us upon checkin was very friendly and immediately provided extra towels at our request. The room was the perfect size for what we needed it for. Two adults, two teenagers. We absolute loved that the sink wasn’t in the bathroom! With four girls in a room it was convenient so while one was in the shower the others could share the sink and mirror to get ready. I never want the sink with the shower again. Yes, as the pictures show, the bath/toilet area is very small but we knew that ahead of time from the pictures. The beds are VERY comfortable. The location was perfect for us, we had the option of a 2 minute walk to get to the beach at the quieter end or to walk a bit more and get down to the arcade area which is typically more lively. Either way, not a far walk to everything you need. There are also at least 3 places to walk to within 5 mins for breakfast! We will be back again and hopefully we can request the same room. I will say, our room did not have a view and the window went out to the street partially and the side of another building but we liked this for privacy.

My friends and I wanted a relaxing, beach town vacation and this property was perfect for us. We were able to sit on the beach and relax and on a day that was not forcasting great weather, we headed to Portsmouth, a short drive away, and did some shopping and visited Prescott Park and had great food at The Hearth and Jumpin' Jays. We treated ourselves to the phenomenal ice cream at Beach Plum and had an amazing brunch at The Bench. Dinner at Galley Hatch was amazing. Our room was a good size for us and had everything we needed, although we did let the property manager know the mattresses in the second bedroom needed to be replaced. All in all, though, we had the vacation we wanted and needed.

Shops and restaurants bring us back to Hampton about once a year. It's an hour and half for us, so not mad far. Bernie's Restaurant especially, brings us back... upstairs, outdoor, covered by umbrella, seating...overlooking the beach, traffic, and passers-by.. is equal to the great casual food and drinks... there are times when we travel to Bernie's and home, without seeing much (if any) of the sights nearby. This trip added an overnight stay, so we hit the beach both days, the shops both days, and Bernie's for lunch both days. Win! Win! Win!
location great. Staff friendly and very accommodating. Balcony facing the ocean was a great bonus. Breakfast was ready every morning with pastries, hot coffee, bagels , cereal , fruits and orange juice, which was awesome. Dont have to leave hotel to find coffee and breakfast and can save a little money too. Hot water took a while to warm up but it’s an old building, and once it warmed up it stayed hot for a long time with good pressure. Love the old building charm it has . Quiet at night. Rooms comfortable.
This hotel was excellent, the room was large and clean and smelled very nice. The lobby and dining area were also very clean and the breakfast was delicious, it had everything you could want and then some. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking, and the location was close to downtown with lots of restaurants.
we needed a crash pad...we went to a concert at the Hampton Beach casino and the ships inn was very close....The Inn is close to everything you'd want to be near. The staff was very pleasant and I enjoyed conversation with them.
Plenty of parking, a full size refrigerator and stove was nice...teh ac worked well and so did the heater.,
It was an approx. 10-minute walk to the beach. The (heated) pool area was very nice (actually had a bathroom inside pool area, as well as tables and a bar-b-q.) The staff was very accomodating. Parking right at the hotel, and most spots were under cover.
Approx. 20-30 minute walk to Seashell Stage for concerts.

4) Refridgerator and Microwave
5) Coffee in Common area in the mornings
6) Overall Hotel is clean (not very clean)
I felt I walked back into time. The history of both the inn and tavern was so interesting. The staff was above and beyond helpful. The food was spectacular. This will be my go to place when ever I go to Hampton Beach.
I liked the location of Royale Coach Motor Lodge to the Hampton Beach area. It was an easy ride to the beach and all the wonderful restaurants that I wanted to visit. I thought that the grounds were kept up nicely.
Room was clean & comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. The hotel was easy to find and close to many businesses. About 15 minutes from Hampton beach. Pleasant experience.
What a quaint hotel. We had such an enjoyable stay. Location is great! The restaurant serves very delicious meals, we ate there twice.Beds were very comfortable.
