Small town but friendly people any place we stopped -...
Small town but friendly people any place we stopped - Woodlands, Rolling Fatties - burritos...LOL, Sugarloaf - Widow Maker - fantastic view & band & The Bag had yummy food & great bartender - Sue. We also enjoyed snowshoeing and scenery at the Sugarloaf sports center. We loved the décor of the inn and the staff/owner. Breakfast was made to order and delish. We love the lounge/tavern area...nice fireplace, variety of books, cribbage and plenty of things to see on the walls & huge window in back of the bar brought in lots of light and wintery scene.

The hotel—and the town —is a hidden gem in western Maine. (A state I incidentally grew up in and never heard of Kingfield). We rolled up on the place, road weary and parched, to find hosts willing to help us feel at home.JenniferUnited States of America
