Seabrook Inn, hotel in Newburyport

The Seabrook Inn is 6.3 mi from the Hampton Beach and 47 mi from Boston. Portland is 66 mi from Seabrook Inn. Seabrook Inn also offers a seasonal outdoor pool. Every room has a TV.

Loved the basic nature of the place. It wasn't updated with the usual cookie cutter remodeling that the higher end places are all doing now. All was adequate, clean, and the price was reasonable. Checkout was a breeze as it is off season. Location was great. Easy access to sights and services. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Just the right amount of shops and good restaurants--the city did a fantastic job of 'restoring' Newburyport in the '60s and it is just charming. Of course the port/waterfront itself is the star. I could never get enough of just sitting and enjoying that view. The number of beautiful historic houses is astonishing. I would go back in a heartbeat.

What I like the most is that it didn't look like a motel at all look like a home in the queen Suite that I had was actually like a home to me I wish I could have stayed longer I was actually hoping that there would be a tub to take a bubble bath. The shower was a bit small I love, my room had a fireplace also they living room had a pull out bed in the couch that was great also the location of the Inn was near restaurants and stores it was awesome. I had a great night at the paddle inn which was only a 2-minute walk around the corner

The restaurant situation sucked. We went out for dinner at 5 thinking we were early enough to get in. Because of covid19 most restaurants had an hour or more wait already! No bars were open so an after dinner drink is out of the question.

Newburyport is a great combination of modern and historical, and my favorite birdwatching location (Plum Island) is only a 5-minute drive away. The town is easily walkable, and there's lots of public parking. We ate at a great restaurant - The Grog - on Middle St. Relatively inexpensive and a fine menu.

The shopping is great. Also the restaurants are great. Plenty of both. The best think I like about it is you walk everywhere. You come in and park the car at the Inn and walk everywhere. Great location.

It is located on the ocean. Very walkable city. It is dog friendly. Large choice of restaurants. We took an hour boat cruise on the river. It was a gorgeous day, and the captain was very knowledgeable.. There are whale watching boats that also leave from the river. Assortment of shops geared to all ages! Hidden gem!!

The staff made this stay perfect. Caitlin was so accommodating. she even supplied wine glasses and a cheese board for me when our nieces came to visit. The breakfasts were amazing with fresh fruit and breakfast casseroles that were delicious and healthy. The location for walking to dinner, shopping or the waterfront was perfect. Location is three blocks from the water. The property is well kept with parking and outdoor seating. We certainly hope to stay here again.

The breakfast was exceptional - Kim made a terrific egg dish both of the mornings we were there. Loved the cozy living room with the fireplace. The cupola on the 4th floor was such an added treat - we watched the sunset with a bottle of wine. Room was large with very comfortable beds. Nice closet and dresser too. Location was great - easy access to the downtown restaurants and shops. Kim was the nicest innkeeper we've had!!

The staff were wonderful, especially the general manager. When I realized the stairs were very steep, she was able to move us to a room on the first floor. Breakfast was described as "continental" but it was waaay more than that. The room was super comfortable especially the bed. I can't say enough great things about this place and the town of Newburyport is so quaint and walkable. Definitely stay here if you get the chance.

The breakfast was fantastic. All made to order / fresh. Very fancy for a free breakfast at a hotel. The staff, Jody and Stew in particular, were great! They met and remembered all of the people traveling with us, and we had a lot of people. Every time we came in, they knew our names and how we were all related. They are hilarious, and made our stay a lot of fun. We were laughing the whole time.

First and foremost, the architecture of this magnificent building is stunning. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. Parking was easy and access to downtown so comfortable. We happened to be in Newburyport during an unusual heat wave (over 100 F for 3 days). Fortunately, the hotel was air-conditioned and very comfortable.

Simple, clean and historic. Great location to get to anywhere in Newburyport or Plum Island. Loved running to the beach and on the water/ rail trail loop. Kitchen was very functional, although we mostly just used it for coffee in the morning, we easily could have made more involved meals. The sitting area was a nice space and the bedrooms were quiet and clean.

I had a very nice stay with my family at the hotel. Each room was decorated delicately. The best breakfast I had during the entire trip was at this hotel. The workers at front desk were really kind and helpful. Besides, I want to thank Joady for her help. My son forgot his AirPods at the hotel room and she helped me to ship them back to my house. Thanks!

The location couldn’t have been better! The inn was a such a good base for exploring the lovely town of Newburyport. Three historic homes next door to each other provide lots of room options. We were particularly impressed with the food offerings — breakfast was varied, and there was hot chicken soup available in the afternoon/evening!

Location was perfect to get to nearby restaurants and shops. We didn't need our car at all to get around. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Also free/easily accessible parking was included and to the rear and side of hotel. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was a bonus and lots to choose from.
