I really like driving on the beach so that you don't have to lug your belongings from the car to your spot. I like that there are a lot of different things to do and you don't have to spend all your time at the beach if you choose not to. I liked traveling to the National Seashore and being able to walk the birding trail and see some different areas of Laguna Madre and how the beaches are being preserved through the ranger discussions. I like that the beaches aren't full of seaweed. There can be tar from the offshore rigs, so that is an issue as it sticks to everything, but overall the beaches are clean.

Nice beach and area with restuarants, but unlike some other places in the Corpus Christi area it isn't overloaded with tourist shops/traps. Very nice, clean, and well maintained beach that is regularly patrolled. Great for relaxing.

So much to see and do!

So much to see and do! I try to come back to new adventures and revisit old ones - like horseback riding on the beach! Don’t miss out on the Dolphin Tour located at Woody’s in Port Aransas!!! We caught a sea turtle! Eat at San Juan’s!!!

We went to White Cap Beach and it was great.

We went to White Cap Beach and it was great. We encountered a handful of jellyfish and most of us were stung but it was more of an irritation than a full blown emergency. I have been to Bob Hall Pier before with no jellyfish, so it must just be the season. I love being able to drive onto the beach and also being able to socially distance.

While there is a curfew in place due to Covid...we were able to enjoy the beach with no disruption. The beach was super clean and had trash receptacles and restrooms available. Best beach vacay/getaway...we also enjoyed a great meal at The Boathouse. Be sure to take plenty of sunscreen...and don’t forget to bring a mask to go shopping. 😷

This is for North Padre. We stayed 2 nights.

This is for North Padre. We stayed 2 nights. Unfortunatly North Padre was getting effects from a huricane some in Louisiana or some where else. 1st day lots of seaweed so we didn't get in the water. 2nd day no seaweed at all but the tide was up really high. Make sure to check these things before going. Also check the bacteria levels in the water. It was ok when we were there.

We received a text message stating our room was ready for early check-in at 12:30pm. We did not arrive until 2:30. First off ground level is not ground level. The parking in under the units. Steps are required since the elevator was out of order. The room had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk and they stated I had to contact the Vacasa firm. At 5:30 that night the room still had not been cleaned. We left and got a hotel. A refund was granted thank goodness. The units are old and run down.

The apartment was on the third floor and faced the docks and the pool. The kitchen was perfect and had what we needed to cook, washer and dryer was definitely convenient and accommodated us. We were a 10-15 minute drive from North padre island state park and mustang island. There was a liquor store, cvs and La isla which had bomb breakfast burritos.

Compass #21 had a cozy beachy feel inside with all of the decor and seemed very spacious for a one bedroom condo. The Vacasa team had great communication via text, email and phone prior to and during our stay in Corpus Christi Beach area. Despite our huge inconvenience experience, they were very nice and did take care of us and made it right.
