We had lived there for years and were back visiting family and friends. Traffic is terrible in the mornings till 10am heading to Santa Cruz, and pretty bad around Watsonville also. They do have a nice walking trail available not far from the hotel.

Strawberry farming town 35 minutes from Santa Cruz.
Strawberry farming town 35 minutes from Santa Cruz.
We found the beach called Manresa, it was just 13 minutes from the motel.
Capitola is a cute little town with small stores and the beach not too far from it.
In Watsonville we loved eating at the Strawberry patch cafe and seating at the back outside patio.
Another great breakfast place is Yesy’s.
We recommend the Korean Restaurant in the city of Marina a few miles away.

I was there for a family event but would have enjoyed staying longer and getting to know the town better and the history of this town. I also would have taken more time to see all the agriculture that takes place in Watsonville and perhaps visited some of the farms and purchased fresh produce.

Watsonville us full of tourest activity's, it's safe for family's however it's a cross between the twin city's and chicago area but under supervision of the WPD concidering they have nothing else to supervise tourest are priority and safety comes first . according to them.
The downside is this town is completely fast pase and if you don't keep up it will pass you by.

Used the wrong materials for the remodel a few years ago.
Used the wrong materials for the remodel a few years ago. Laminate flooring in baths are warping. De laminated furniture in every room ive stayed in. Denatured alcohol will remove black scratches from floors. I see your maintenance people and its my opinion that watsonville needs to. Step up with a better quality maintenance. Get some plants in big pots in the breezeway where elevator and stairs are. It looks so sterile in that area. Hire an artist to paint a mural on some areas.change those nasty mats in front of all room's.

I was born there and Watsonville is centered between Monterey and Santa Cruz so there are so many sites to see. Watsonville is very much an Agriculture city and seeing the Ag fields is pretty cool. Watsonville is the strawberry capitol of the world and ALL the fruits and vegetables are fresh
We loved the newness, cleanliness, and decor of this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated the guest laundry room because we had been traveling for a week prior to our stay and needed to do some laundry. We were also very impressed with how quiet the room was. The walls seem very well insulated and sound proofed. And how convenient to be neighbors with Starbucks and an AM/PM market and gas station. The breakfast was also good!
The hotel is new, clean and well maintained. The room was confortable, and the beds were perfect. The pool and the fitness center were relatively small, but there was nobody when we used them. The breakfast was good, and staff is taking care during the whole morning. We recommend this hotel for a stopover on the highway 1.
The full breakfast was a nice bonus and very good, lots of choices. Room was spotless with plenty of towels and loved the wood floors. Bed was very comfy and the hotel itself is very quiet with a nice pool and hot tub. Checking in was a breeze and hostess was very friendly! Would definitely recommend!
Clean rooms. Friendly staff. We used this hotel as a starting point for a southward trip down highway one and the location was great.
The provided self laundry facilities were high capacity and fast (washed and dried a small suitcase of clothes in just over an hour)
It was fine and served our needs last minute stay overnight in Santa Cruz beautiful view across the street to wake up to wallowed in the car quiet off the main highway close to town for food and back to the beach for the day
