We loved looking at the old homes in the historic district
of Savannah. The town squares were beautiful and the azaleas were in full bloom during our visit. We frequently enjoyed listening to musicians in the park or just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the views. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also loved touring the old cemeteries. We have visited three times and hope to be able to go back soon. There is still so very much to see and do!

We loved Savannah.
We loved Savannah. The only downfall was there wasn’t enough parking without having to pay to park anywhere. That was an additional cost for travelers. Otherwise you walked all over the town which isn’t feasible for all travelers. Catty is beautiful! There were also a lot of homeless people everywhere you went. Did not realize it was going to be St Patty’s day and 200th parade! Lots of people. Loved the tours, trolley, museums, parks, River walk, dolphin cruise. Most food places were good.

We visited for 3 days in March and the weather was perfect.
We visited for 3 days in March and the weather was perfect. Savannah is beautiful. We went on the city tour, a ghost tour and a food tour. All were interesting. It was the first time we have gone on a food tour and it was great, highly recommend. We also went to St. John the Baptist cathedral and it was amazing. We visited Bonaventure cemetary and spent an afternoon at Tybee Island.

Savannah, as a long weekend trip destination, was chosen for its ease of transportation (we used Amtrak and Southwest), its rich history, its welcoming Southern charm, and its delicious cuisine.
We recommend that you take the trolley tours and get out and walk about this fine city!
While the property is downtown Savannah and in walking distance to a supermarket and a bakery, we didn't like the area, and it didn't feel very safe as there were not many people walking. The apartment was spacious, had a fully fitted kitchen and came with good Wi-Fi. There was parking in front of the house, as well as at the back for those days one wasn't allowed to park in the front. Communication with the host was excellent and they provided us with the necessary codes and support throughout. Top marks for them!
Perfect location. It felt like we were at home with how cozy it was. Our group was able to easily and quickly get anywhere in downtown Savannah by walking. Also, parking at the Whitaker street garage worked out great and was much cheaper than any hotel nearby. Not only were the bathrooms full of everything you needed but the washer and dryer were stocked as well. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was updated and had everything you needed.
Beautiful hotel in traditional building style (both exterior and interior). Room was clean with comfortable bathroom. Early check in made available by the staff at date of arrival. No need for valet parking as public garage on minute walking distance. Centrally located in town of Savannah. Enjoyed the availability of free bottles of water and the wine moment in afternoon.
The hotel is in a great central walking location in downtown Savannah! It was exceptionally clean, has super comfortable beds and pillows, and loved that it had a powerful Conair portable steamer as clothes got wrinkled during travel. The free breakfast was great and staff were very helpful minus one very grumpy and rude overnight man whom I encountered one night.
Best Western Central turned out to be better than expected. Convenient to the historic district - only a 15 minute drive, no charge for parking the car (many do), clean room, outdoor pool, hot breakfast, and friendly staff. Also located near the botanical garden, Outback, Publix, D&D Nails, and Oglethorpe Mall. We would stay here again!
The breakfast was top. Everything was clean and pleasant, just perfect. However, the price is also correspondingly high. We were lucky and got a special offer, but otherwise it is not so cheap. But the hotel is worth it.
Very close to Savannah's historic district, which is wonderful to explore on foot from the hotel.
Breakfast was average. Served its purpose for having something to snack on, nothing special, but not the worst. Location was by interstate 95, would be great for overnight travel, but still 15 miles from downtown Savannah. Not ideal for intown Savannah experience, but price is cheaper than intown hotels
When we arrived we were greeted by concierge Joann. She was amazing! Helped us get reservations and tickets to what we wanted to do. She also gave us some insight on what restaurants would be best for a vegetarian. The hotel was in a good location for downtown savannah and walkable to to most places.
Friendly staff, free parking and close to public transport. The bus from downtown back to the hotel however was very unreliable but free during St. Patrick’s weekend. The last bus left around 8pm so if you wanted to stay longer in downtown I’d take a ride share or something.
Perfect location. Very close to all the lovely squares and tree lined roads of the historic district. Excellent restaurants nearby. Lovely hotel, full of character. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly staff. And we managed to park on the street very close to the hotel.
We usually stay here when we visit Savannah Historic District, and we have not been dissatisfied yet. The breakfast was the best we’ve had so far on our vacation, at any hotel, the staff polite and courteous. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you
The location from this hotel to and from Tybee as well as downtown Savannah was great. The staff was friendly. Easy to check in and out. It was quiet and we did not hear any neighbors next to us or anything in the hallways so that was nice.
This is simply the best property in the historic district of savannah to rent. There is no other hotel that will accommodate you like this one can. Excellent stay and excellent staff. Please stay here and give these people love.
It was a lovely hotel for a great price. It was walking distance to downtown and all of the beautiful squares in Historic Savannah. It was perfect. I will definitely be back.
Loved the location, was in the heart of downtown Savannah so we could walk everywhere we needed!
The hotel is super nice and updated and the staff was very friendly!
