The washing machine was broke and they did nothing to help the situation.. I had to be at work at 9:30 in the morning. I used the washing machine at 7:15 am and at 9:00 I was pulling my clothes out of a broken washing machine. The housekeeping lady offered to wash and dry and food my clothes and said I could come back later tonight and pick them up. Whe n I asked for my $2 back for the broken machine the mod said no. "We're not going to charge you for washing your clothes " how out of touch with reality can a person be... ??

I think Corpus is amazing and I would defiantly visit again, we went to the Texas Sate Aquarium, which was amazing for my foster kids being there first time. We stayed at the Double Tree Hotel and their service was great and they had a bar and restraint there, so being able to stay in and eat at the hotel was awesome. The beachies were amazing, clean, there were a lot of road work going on near the Aquarium so a little crazy and crowded.

Looks like poverty and weather has hit the area hard.
Looks like poverty and weather has hit the area hard. Streets are convoluted so you often have to do big circles to get to where you want. Most of the town feels unsafe. The beach is beautiful, there are plenty of places to eat and things to do.

I love that you can drive on the beach.
I love that you can drive on the beach. There's a lot of food options. There were plenty of different options as far as style of food and expense levels that you could want. Seemed cleaner than most beach towns and water was pretty clear for Texas coast.

The thing I didn't like that i was having to pay for parking for my stay there, it should be included w the stay. There is always a way to handle this issue if others want to park there for other reasons than d hotel, yes charge them not people staying at hotel.

The original room we were placed in, the bed was covered in urine and they just placed clean bedsheets over it. But they did change our room, however they did not offer any compensation, we had to ask & it was just a minimal amount:(
it was close to everything we wanted to see and do
Texas aquarium

Selena museum, her monument, where she is laid to rest, and family home
north beach
also only a 20-25 minute drive to padre island where you can park on the beach just stop by any convenient store on the island $12 for a parking permit good for a year.
the hotels pool was good, my son loved the gym and the breakfast wasn’t too bad.
the room we had was a king bed suite with pull out couch in living room
enough room for me my kids and granddaughter
The only good thing about this hotel is the location on the beach. You definitely pay for the location and , to me, for the price and quality, the location is not enough to bring me back to this hotel. I'd rather pay the same, for higher quality rooms, across the street. For a better beach, go near mustang island. Way better, cleaner beach experience. That is where I will be staying next time I bring my family down to the Gulf Coast.
Room I Was Given Was Dirty! Ex: Microwave Fridge Floors Bathroom. One Of The Beds Had Dirty Disgusting Bed Sheets, The Other Bed Was if Someone Had Just Slept On It Was Not Made. Gentleman In The Front Desk Stated It Was Not His Problem It Was The Hotels Problem!!! That Is Not A Good Response From This Gentleman, He Represents This Hotel. Not Satisfied And Will Not Recommended This Hotel To Anyone!
Since our main purpose was to go to Beach and it's 3 minutes walk to beach, that's why it was very convenient.
Parking was challenging. If you want to park in the hotel parking lot than you need to come in early.
You can also park on the street which is safe to park.
Beach was clean. If you don't want to take your own umbrella than you can rent it for $35/Day.
Great place, we really enjoyed it When we left, they asked how our stay was and actually seemed to care if we enjoyed our selves, clean, and loved the soap, shampoo and lotion dispensers in the bathroom, never seen that before. If you want a good room for a great price in Corpus Christi, Id recommend this place.
Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel was nice and clean in the main lobby(except the bathrooms). Being right on the beach and pool overlooking the ocean was incredible I liked that it was pet friendly. Food was good.
Location is nice because its right on the beach, but literally nothing was around unless u wanted to drive 20 minutes into town which was annoying. Not the hotel's fault, just stupid city planning. Staff was nice too.
The convenience of everything. Breakfast buffet, indoor and outdoor bars, pool, hot tub, direct access to the beach. Friendly staff. Even watched a couple get married on the beach, while we were at pool.
The hotel was on the beach which we enjoyed very much. Having a restaurant across the street also helped make my stay
more enjoyable since there was no restaurant in hotel.
The staff was nice and very helpful. I like that it is on the beach. The pools were clean and it was nice to have a place to take my mom’s service dog for walks.
I loved the location on the beach but the hotel didnt have a pool, and the access to the beach was cut off and the rooms were not as roomy as I thought.
