The church bells chiming every hour, on the hour, mixed with a very squeaky bed made for a disturbed night. The cups in our room had not been cleaned from the previous users and nor had the cutlery at the breakfast table. The hostess wasn’t there for a lot of the time, so any queries we had went unanswered, and the pastries at the breakfast table were not fresh. We loved the beautiful green spaces in Newton. The historic houses are huge and gorgeous and we loved going for drives through the neighborhood. There are plenty of parks and playgrounds, pools and fountains. We stopped by Cabot’s in Newtonville for ice-cream.MegChina

Claudia is a very helpful host, makes super breakfasts, is flexibel, the rooms are clean and situated in her beautiful well kept historical house. Near the T and even provide with a Charlie Card it is only 30 minutes ride form Newton Highlands to down town Boston..we highly recomend this characteristic place over any hotel. If you are there for the Boston marathon you are about to meet other runners and that's great fun!
