While I was in Wichita there were many great places I stopped by to see. The Wichita Art Museum was absolutely fantastic and The Keeper of the Plains Statue on the river was super cool! I also stopped by the Wichita State Baseball field and The Original Pizza Hut Museum with was pretty cool. Finally, if you are looking for an arcade or something fun to go to at night, I would highly recommend The Arcade! It was only $12 for unlimited play and they have tons of 80s and 90s arcade games!

Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants.
Good location with easy access to shopping and restaurants. We ate at the Salt Grass Steak house. Great food and close to the hotel. Would recommend both. Getting around Wichita was good. Majority of the road work was done on 96 since our last visit.

When we arrived the front door did not stand out and the place looked in disrepair. I asked the front desk lady if there was anyway I could cancel my room and she said not without losing my $169. Yes, they say the rooms are 119 but after all the hidden fees it was $50 more then the advertised price. Also, they charge $100 to your debit card just in case you tear up the room. I have yet to see this money returned to my card. The place was dirty and run down and location is horrible as it's on the opposite side of town where restaurants and entertainment was. Very disappointed as this was a room that should have been maybe $69. However, it was for our anniversary so we wanted a little bit of luxury, but this place didn't have anything but the basics which were run down. The bed sheets didn't even fit the bed so we kept adjusting them. The TV is confusing if you are not a COX customer and use it at your home. We just wanted to scroll through the channels and that took a while to figure out. Also, both remotes needed new batteries so we were going to call the front desk and the room didn't have any phones. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel.

I grew up in Wichita and was back visiting for the holidays. It’s probably not a go to place for vacation unless visiting family or friends but has everything anyone would want for shopping and dining.

Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town.
Seemed like a lot of homeless for a Midwest town. Larger than expected. Crime seemed to be high. During our one night visit, our rental car was used to visit a nearby restaurant. On the way home, rammed by another car which fled the scene. Taken by ambulance to a filthy downtown hospital for treatment. The hospital seemed to specialize in turning away patients. Ah, no, I won’t be returning to this city.
We had a friendly welcome and the staff was fully accomodating. They warned us that because of some staff shortages that the rooms would only be cleaned upon request. However, the staff still managed to bring us fresh towels everyday without asking. We loved the fresh cookies at reception everyday. One evening, they were out, the receptionist comped us oreos from the snack bar. Breakfast rotated a bit so that we had a bit of variety the few days we were there. Close to downtown Wichita and near many shopping areas for necessities.
Our 6 am flight was cancelled at the last minute due to weather. We had to stay another night in Wichita and were exhausted. We arrived at the hotel at 11 am and we were allowed access to our room early. The hotel lobby and restaurant was very nice as was the outside location. The room had a couch and small table which we needed. The staff were exceptional, and the cleanliness of the facility was perfect! The large windows for natural sunlight were wonderful
This is the 4th hotel we’ve stayed at in Wichita and by far the best. We kept booking new ones when we were passing through because every one we stayed and was not great. The staybridge, however, was fantastic. The breakfast was enormous with every option you can imagine, hot and cold. The room was spacious and clean. We loved that it was dog friendly. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
This was a beautiful hotel with a great location and parking was included. A great value also. We stayed here while attending a concert at Intrust arena and was able to walk to restaurants, bars and the concert. Breakfast was included made to order or buffet with a waitress, and it was delicious. Best OJ ever. Water and snacks in the room were a nice bonus also.
*Room was a good size, was clean, bed was comfortable. *Shower had good water pressure and hot water.
*Location was good, walkable to many resturants and shopping. Quiet.
*Breakfast was a good variety and tasty (prolly the best hotel eggs I've ever had!)
*Laundry was convient and room was nice and cool.
*Plenty of safe parking.
Clean and affordable. Pool area was clean. They have a hot tub but it’s not in use. Jumped their prices the next day, for some basketball tournament. Rooms went from $65 a night to $180. On their defense, they weren’t the only Hotel to do that, ALL hotels in Wichita did. No breakfast, due to the Covid pandemic.
After the terrible experience we had with the Super 8 Wyndham Tulsa Airport hotel, the Wichita location was a wonderful surprise and a breath of fresh air. The two places could not have been more opposite. We were very happy with the breakfast, the comfort of the room and its amenities and its location.
Friendly staff, super comfy beds and a very well appointed room. My wife and I loved the place and highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Wichita. Extremely handy have the Irish Pub into front of the hotel too!! Wink, Wink.
10/10 from us.
Breakfast was very good. Food was hot and delicious and not just cereal and bagels. Waffles, eggs, sausage!! yum yum. Coffee was also very, very good and dining area was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable and room was nice.
Big room with very comfortable beds. Enjoyed the couch, microwave, and fridge I. Room. Very quiet in the room even with a bad storm outside. Air conditioning worked very well. Felt safe.
The room and the staff were wonderful. The wait staff was nice also. They were kind and gave us a ride to InTrust for the concert we came to see. That was an added bonus.
