I normally do not write reviews however this hotel is disgusting. The staff upon check in were rude and less than hospitable. The room smelled heavily of mold and dog urine. The bathroom sink and tub had rust rings around the basin. The bathroom walls were filthy with black dirt marks from previous guests including the front door to the room. Upon addressing the concerns with the front desk staff, they did not seem to care and advised me to contact the third party booking website for any assistance. There are plenty of affordable hotels in the area that offer better accommodations than this hotel, please stay away.

Ventura is one of the first beach towns you can stay in as you drive north from Los Angeles. Nice pier and harbor area and it competes with Oxnard just to the North as an easy weekend get away from Los Angeles.

Clean and commfortable place to stay if all you need is a basic lodging with some kitchen facilities. Not in a very good location, and the kitchen was very poorly stocked, but it served our purpose as an relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting Channel Islands National Park.

I like Ventura.
I like Ventura. We usually stop in Oxnard for food but this was our fist time staying the night in Ventura. It is more affordable than Ojai and Santa Barbara. I would visit with my family again. The Beach House restaurant on the pier was great too.

Although the city is bisected by a busy freeway and a rail line, it's a great place to shop, walk along the beach, and as a more reasonably priced place to stay for visits to Santa Barbara and Ojai.

We went for the International Heirloom Exposition.
We went for the International Heirloom Exposition. It was fantastic!!! If you like to garden, I highly recommend it. Then we got to experience a little bit of Ventura. Their downtown/midtown gets a little crazy for us, but we found a ton of other eating options. I highly recommend Fresh Grill Ventura @ Main St & S. Santa Rosa St. Their breakfast bowl is the best!!! Fresh veggies and so tasty.
This is a great little hotel for a short or longer-term stay. the room was comfortable and the staff was friendly. I was very pleasantly surprised with my short stay there. if you're looking for a basic place to stay that is reasonably priced, with a comfortable bed, kitchen, and nice bathroom then I thought it was good. If you're looking for luxury or are super finicky about your lodgings then maybe this isn't the place for you.
This hotel exceeded my expectations.
Rooms have been remodeled and are beautiful and very clean. Location to Main Street Ventura just a few minutes walk, felt safe. Lobby currently under modifications but able to see it will mirror the quality of guest room. Highly recommend and will certainly use when in the area again.
Room was good value compared to other hotels in Ventura. We were attending a concert at the Ventura Music Hall, which was basically across the street, so very convenient! Small free parking lot in the back; we had no problem finding parking on a Saturday night in October.
Honestly I loved the hotel from front to back. The location was walking distance to the beach, downtown Ventura was relatively close, and the staff were very friendly! Customer Service was always available which is a huge thumbs up!
Good value, dog-friendly (no extra fees), centrally located near the beaches, restaurants and Downtown Ventura area. Near the freeway and gas stations - good place to stop for a night during a roadtrip.
Great hotel in the heart of Ventura with awesome courtyard and very nice stylish rooms. Lover our little patio. Very clean room and despite a music festival next door, our room was quiet.
Very clean bedroom! Also very comfortable, and the wifi was super fast! Plenty of restaurants around, and also very central and close to the freeway and downtown. Great friendly staff!
you can hear the main road but the view makes up for it.
room is brilliant and huge!
excellent free breakfast - the best we had in a hotel during our time in America.
Facility was clean and quiet. Our room was viewing the harbor, but we really need something that's quiet, and this property met that. Everybody was happy.
it’s my favorite hotel in Ventura this not the first and would not the last time . it was clean the customer service and front disk perfectly amazing .
