We loved the location and the pool access rooms. The rooms are well fitted out and the beds are comfortable. Bathrooms spacious and communication from the hotel was great too.
Beachfront access and whilst the beach is busy, it's fun to people watch from this vantage point and watch the world go by. The beach is stunning. The island itself is perhaps my favourite in all of SE Asia.

The room is clean. The staff are friendly and try their best help. The environment is considered quiet, about 10min walk to walking street from the beach, so you can have a good sleep but will wake up early by rooster crowing. It was 2 minutes walk to pattaya beach from the apartment. If you just reach koh Lipe with luggage, enter the walking street and get a local taxi to send you to the hotel, cost 50thb per pax.If u only have a backpack, u may consider walking from the beach to the lipe banyan apartment. The inside room has a microwave, you can buy some food from 711 to reheat in the room for breakfast or supper. They do not provide breakfast.

From the greeting at check in from Nadia to Irfan sending us off and everything in between was bliss. We had such a romantic relaxing and beautiful stay. If I could personally thank everyone by name I would. From the chef and the food, the service in rooms, the dining team and spa staff, everyone made our special trip seamless and extra amazing. We stayed in the sand beachfront villas and the room had everyone and beyond! The amenities were 7 star and all requests were accommodated with a smile. I’m a picky guest when resorts claim to be 5 star but the Irene team at Irene beach resort exceeded all expectations and were simply faultless. I highly recommend and will be back! Thank you again! 🙏🏻

Visitors and luggage leave Talaga ferry via long tailed boats. Immigration is under cover on the beach where passports are returned. Expect to wait an hour and then pay the National Park fee. Tuk-tuks have set fee although reduced when you get them from your resort. Taxi stands are easy to find on Walking Street which is pedestrian-only at night. Cash is King! ATMs are available. Lots of restaurants, bars and street food around. Not that cheap but good standard of food in restaurants. It's bigger than we thought! Keep National Park ticket on you if you go on island day trips. Far end of Zodiac beach resort was amazing. Great restaurant - Synergy?

Little, which mean you can walk everywhere, relaxing but if you want to party you can.
The beaches are beautiful, the people that live in the island amazing, food is great.

Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again.
Absolutely lovely. Definitely coming back again. This island is a true paradise. Quite a long way to get to but worth it when you’re there. Sunset beach gives you little coves surrounded by rocks, great snorkeling and kayaking, beautiful sunsets and a quiet laidback atmosphere. Sunrise beach offer more open beaches free of rocks and plenty of white sand. It is busier and more crowded but still offering beautiful crystal clear waters.
Ko Lipe caters for all crowds really and yet it retains that small paradise island vibe that enables you to switch off and truly rest. All locals are incredibly friendly and polite. They are genuinely hospitable and caring. Very easy to get around the island as you can walk everywhere. Should you need a taxi, there are plenty and no matter where you’re going you pay thb50. Food wise there’s plenty of choice for both Thai or western food. If you’re vegetarian or vegan you also will have plenty of options. The hotels offer catering choices at reasonable prices. There are some tours to go on should you feel that way inclined. I honestly can recommend it enough.

Long tale boats are invading the beach and dirtying the water and damaging the coral reefs
It was so hard to swim somewhere clean and without a boat
There are no rubbish bins in the beach, lots of rubbish everywhere
Incredible little island suffering from resorts, long tale boats and plastic consumption and reckless humans
I feel so sorry for the little incredible ko lipe, I hope they will protect the island and save it

Thai paradise. But already very touristic.
Thai paradise. But already very touristic. If you are not a fan of snorkeling/diving, nothing much more to do. But generally nice views, snorkel trips, excellent clear sea and rhe white sand. And the food!

So much busier than we thought it would be.
So much busier than we thought it would be. Very noisy with the boats. The pattaya beach completely ruined because of the boats. Sunset beach is pretty and quieter but take mosquito spray, there are clouds of them wanting your blood. The general feel of the island was that we were tolerated because we spend money. Not a friendly island at all.
I spent 200baht in Wave supermarket afterwards I asked for a plastic cup and they wanted to charge 1 baht, I really wished I'd given 500 and waited for the change.
On the plus side great snorkeling away from the boats.
Sanom Beach Resort across the rickety bridge is well worth a visit, 400 baht for 2 comfy beanbags on the incredible beach, food great and not expensive, definitely worth a visit, best place on the island.
This family resort is located on the greenest part of island, very close to the quiet beach which is the best for snorkeling.
Every place on Lipe is also close by a walk or by a free taxi by owners :-)
Very spacious and clean rooms.
Great yummy breakfast with big plate of fruits - the best sandwich and pancake i've ever had in hotel :-)
Absolutely amazing owners, very kind and willing to help you. You feels like in your mama house :-)
For sure the best accomodation of our 3 weeks trip in Thailand.
Go there and enjoy great time!!!
Staff were absolutely fantastic! Being a smaller island and resort, the service was personalised. Our little boy was greeted and looked after so well by staff, nothing was ever a hassle.
Fantastic location, we would get up and watch sunrise, see the monks walk along the beach and receive donations from hotels and give blessings then enjoy a long breaky and chats with other guests. Short walk to walking street, mini marts located just outside the hotel and again we're lovely people.
The owner is a super friendly enthusiastic guy from Barcelona who will try and help you in any way he can! The location of the hostel is really good (don't follow your Google Maps though, it took me somewhere else, just go to the 7-Eleven at the end of walking street, it's right above it). There is a fridge, microwave and kettle and you'll get a towel on arrival. Maybe some cups and cutlery would be nice for the future. There are also brand new lockers that work with a code.
Very friendly and helpful owners and staff - Salisa has a very relaxed vibe.
The breakfasts are very good and the restaurant serves up excellent food choices.
Location on sunrise beach is lovely - direct access to soft sand and warm clean water. Plenty of chairs and loungers.
Accommodation is well maintained with good wifi , aircon and showers. The overall property looks really good.
This was our second stay and we're looking forward to coming back again next year.
We were surprised that the hotel picked us up when we arrived with the ferry from Malaysia and they also took us to the speed boats at the beach when we left Koh Lipe for free. The room was extremely nice and spacious, also the balcony. Breakfast was served on the beach, with an amazing view. Staff very friendly. We arrived at the beginning of the low season and could enjoy massages in the hotel for special price.
Not sure why we saw bad reviews lately but we really enjoyed our stay, staff is professional, the rooms are large with great outdoor bathrooms, the location is fantastic… Of course it is not a 5 star resort with pool and 100 staff but it has all it needs for a fantastic stay. We were a group of 20 and felt at peace in this great hotel , everything was efficient and they make great food and great cocktails!!
Very nice place on the quiet Sunset Bay.
The bungalows are very comfy, spacious and has A/C - very rare at these prices on koh lipe.
We loved the place, however it is a bit far away from everything else so be prepared for walking a lot (or taking the taxi from the hotel 50thb to go to town)
Beautiful sunsets, nice coral and fish just outside the resort
We also really liked breakfast.
Get the room with the private pool. Its worth every penny. Insane view and this hotel has the best beach on the island!!! I swear its a dream. The view from the restaurant is breath taking. The villas are so confortable and they pay so much attention to detail. They even had staff waiting for us at the dock. They bring breakfast to your room and its just awesome.
Located on the perfect sandy sunrise beach, with spacious rooms, a great breakfast, and wonderful helpful staff. A few minutes walk to the busy center of the island, Wapi resort gives you the best of both worlds.
I highly recommend this resort for both families and couples looking to enjoy all the Lipe Island has to offer.
We will surely be back again.
Beautiful resort! There are two pools, the pool uphill has a beautiful view of the ocean. They have their own beach beds and a restaurant with really good food (I recommend the green curry). The beach in front is stunning. It’s a 7 minute walk on the beach to walking street. Staff is lovely!!!
Beautiful outlook from cafe area over Sunrise Beach and this is a nice spot to relax. Unfortunately the food was not great. Easy walk to Walking Street. Staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the overall feel.of the resort but don't expect luxury accommodation.
Very helpful & responsive staff. They helped us to charter the return boat transfer from Pak Bara jetty, and liase with the dive center on our equipment transfer.
Resort located on a quiet Sunrise beach and yet is easily assessable from Walking Street.
the resort located in Sunrise beach which is most beautiful white beach in koh lipe, this is goor for snorkeling and relax. every unit is bungalows,so not crowed, relax with private condition, breakfast is good enough, staff also helpful
The hotel comes with breakfast! And location is near to everywhere, (less than 12 mins walk to sunrise beach) restaurants and convenient stores are near to the hotel. Good service and the staffs are friendly.
Amazing breakfast!
The hotel is near everything, 3 minutes from the « Main Street », 14 minutes from the sunrise beach and 10 minutes from the sunset beach.
Great bedroom also, with a lot of space.
-I like their location which is on sunrise breach and near walking street about 5 minutes walk.
-nice decorated
-you can rent kaya in the hotel which the price is more cheaper than other venders
The location was right on Sunrise Beach and absolutely perfect. The bed was also comfortable and the service was exceptional. Definitely recommend staying here while in Koh Lipe.
Great location, great breakfast, and great facilities (clean swimming pools, nice view, and a good restaurant). Most hotel staff were very nice and helpful.
