There isnt much to do in Bophut. We stayed for 4 days and we felt it was too long. The beach is ok albeit small and the only clean areas are those around the hotels and resorts. Once you walk outside your hotel the streets are dirty and smelly and overall lack good infrastructure. there are almost no trees on the streets. Bolt And Grab dont work in the Bophut area and people have to rely on the very expensive taxi mafia. Tourist prices everywhere which are similar to European prices. The Fishermans Village was great with a lot of food options and souvenirs, A must see but open only on Monday and Friday evenings, Other than that, there is nothing else to do in Bophut.

Bophut has a good mix.
Bophut has a good mix. Fisherman's village is quaint but has plenty of life, pubs and restaurants, and a good night market. The beach is clean and not overcrowded and there are plenty of trips on offer Over all a good area to base your trip to Koh Samui from

Lovely clean place full of restaurants/bars, markets, but not too lively, perfect for us and families.
From the pier, the taxis are sooooo expensive. Going back from towns to pier, 200 to 300baht cheaper. So barter. To our hotel price on board was 1,000. We refused and offered 600. That was accepted.
In 4 nights, we ate twice at Summer (next to coco tams) amazing, and we cld see the fire show perfectly.
We hired a car for our stay via our hotel, so probably not the cheapest way. But it was convenient for us on a short stay. One day cost the same as two taxi rides, and instead of doing tours, we went to all the places on tours that we fancied.

The condition of the road surface was abysmal.
The condition of the road surface was abysmal. The drainage is also sadly lacking. The pressure put on the vendors when there is significant rain is terrible. There are also some areas that need a good clean up.
Always wear footwear that can get wet if there in the wet season.

Fishermans village was a great place for shopping and dinning, numerous excellent restaurants of which some were right on the beach, daily cultural shows. Great beach, great water activities provided by the hotels such as kyakes, paddle boarding, jet skies, speedboat hire etc.

Bophut is relatively quite, especially compared to Chaweng, so maybe better suited for families. Lots of nice places to eat though and food in Thailand is just amazing anyway. Coco Tams bar on the beach has a cool vibe and the nightly fire show is amazing. You just sit on a bean bag ahead of the show up to an hour before to secure your spot, order your beer, and wait for the kind of show Health and Safety probably doesn't allow back home
Beautifully designed boutique hotel. Massive room with loads of lovely extra details. Three sizes of cups for tea, coffee etc. Plenty of complimentary water, as well as some beer and soft drink. Very comfortable bed. Harman Kardon speaker. Beach bag. Free yoga and pilates classes every morning. Beautiful on site boutique. Lovely friendly Thai staff. About a 20 minute walk to Fishermans Village. It's French owned and that was reflected in the restaurant, with a French chef plating up wonderful seafood dishes and serving French wine.
Great location, easy to get in and out of the city, it's only 2mins walking to Fisherman’s Village.
The staff was wonderful. Front desk (Pepito) staff is extremely efficient, pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is quite new i guess and well maintained. The beds were very comfy. We enjoyed the view of the sunrise and sunset.
We also visited "The Deck Beach Club" which is the same owner of the hotel in which they have pool and restaurant with 15% discount if you are checked-in one of their hotels.
Ibis was really good and a great value for money! The employees were very nice, specially Molly who is just such a charming and helpful person, always bringing a smile to our face! The beds are very comfortable and the hotel itself has a beautiful beach view and easy access. The morning bouffes were great and the travel agency at the place was extremely helpful :)
15 minute walk from the fisherman's village and night market which became a nice stroll at night.
Fantastic boutique hotel just off the Bophut Fisherman’s Village walking path. Close to everything. Super clean. We had breakfast included: croissant or toast with butter and jam, yogurt, fresh fruit, green tea…delivered to our room at a time of my choice. Lovely workers. Beautiful garden and well kept swimming pool. Also this is one of the only places we’ve stayed with central AirCon. Super comfortable bed. Pool towels were provided. Safe is in the closet.
Amazing location, with fisherman's village close by. We had one of the rooms with the plungepool and couldn't believe how much space we had to ourselves! Koh Samui is a really friendly island and likewise the staff at Bandara are all really welcoming and make you feel at home. The food we had was great and plenty of options for breakfast. Paddle boards are available to hire at a competitive price. This was my second stay and would happily stay again!
My room:
Big bed, couch, table, tv, mirror, toilet shower.
The price are extremely affordable. And a good zone.
This house with Rooms has not contain for us travelers SWIMINGPOOL, PRIVATE BEACH, GYM, BUFFET BREAKFAST, SAUNAS, ROOM SERVICE, RESTAURANT.
I truly understand as they are extremely affordable.

This cozy boutique hotel has a neat garden and everything is well-kept. We stayed in the family room. The terrace faces the sea and beach, and the fantastic pool is just a few steps away. We practically had the pool to ourselves every day, making it perfect for relaxation. There are a few restaurants nearby, but if you're seeking more activity, you'll need to take a 5-10 minute taxi ride. I highly recommend this hotel.
Our hosts were lovely & welcoming! Gave us lots of recommendations & helped us to organise a taxi. The cats around the property were adorable! 10 minute walk to the night market was perfect for our 1 night stay. Room was beautifully furnished, clean and the AC was the best we have had in Thailand so far! Would definitely come back for a couple of days when visiting Koh Samui again.
The hotel is beautiful, well located next to the fisherman village and the beach walkthrough with many restaurants and bars. Rooms are specious and well designed, but have no inner doors so the bed area, the vanity mirror and sinks, toilet and shower are all sharing one space with no doors to separate between them. Staff is super nice and accomodating.
This hotel was perfect for our family. The swimming pool was great, and a few steps from our villa. Breakfast buffet was simple but perfect - freshly cooked eggs and lovely on the beach. The location in Bophut was great- right in the thick of it.
A beautiful resort in one of the nicest parts of Koh Samui. Our two bed apartment was large and comfortable, and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were very efficient and super friendly. Highly recommended!
Stunning furnishings and design. Really lovely staff. Superb views from our room. Couldn’t fault the accommodation in any way. Perhaps one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The best thing about our stay on Koh Samui.
The setting was really beautiful and the beach was fantastic. Loved the low key vibe and friendly staff. The rooms were beautifully designed with great outdoor showers. Fabulous and romantic and relaxing!
It was just great! Quiet, clean and beautiful. 2 m walking from the beach and the swimming pool is super cute. The ladies at the reception were super nice and gave us some nice tips for Koh Tao.
The location was perfect, beautiful sea view view, plenty of space and comfortable! If we ever come back to Koh Samui we will 100% stay again. Petr was very welcoming and made us feel at home.
It's just near the beach, and the staff in peace hotel are really amazing!
Also it's highly recommended for family to stay here, they have the kids room and open area playground.
This hotel was very beautiful. It had 3 pools, 2 of which were beachside which i really loved. My room was very clean and staff was always very helpful.
