Mookboonchu Guesthouse ,Kohmook Trang, hotel in Koh Mook

Set in Koh Mook, 400 metres from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Mookboonchu Guesthouse, Kohmook Trang offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a restaurant.

Our room was very nice, modern and clean. the beds were comfortable. Its located in the area with all the restaurants and supermarket. Its really close to the beach where you can watch a beautiful sunrise or find a nice bar/restaurant, but the sea tide is very low, so the best beach for swimming is Charlie beach, where you need to walk or take a taxi.

Rinna Resort, hotel in Koh Mook

Situated in Koh Mook and with Hua Laem Prao Beach reachable within less than 1 km, Rinna Resort features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace.

Rinna Resort has by far the best location on the island. It is located on a mountain near the pier with a beautiful view. In addition, the owners are the nicest people we met during our trip through Thailand. The day we had to leave we had to get up early and the owner came to us in the evening to ask what we wanted for breakfast so that it was ready early in the morning. I highly recommend this place!!

Situated in Koh Mook, a few steps from Hua Laem Prao Beach, Mook Ing Lay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge.

Nice location near the pier and on the way to the village. Garden-like, spacious surroundings. The room was nice and clean, but the promised seaview was questionable. Anyway, a lovely stay and well worth the money. Recommended!

We loved how relaxed the island was.

We loved how relaxed the island was. The locals were super friendly (especially the children who said hello and good morning whenever we went past). It is very quiet compared to other Thai islands such as Koh Lipe / Koh Phi Phi so be prepared for early nights rather than late night partying.

    Charlie’s beach was our favourite.

Charlie’s beach was our favourite. You could sit on the loungers and umbrellas for free although the beer cocktails and Pad Thai were too good to decline. You get around the island in tuk tuks which cost 50baht each no matter what the distance. The Home Restaurant, Arunee (fantastic cook) and Manat run this lovely restaurant. One night we had barracuda for dinner which was delicious. We were lucky one evening to see turtles by the pier

Ko Muk is a very nice and quiet island (non-touristic).

Ko Muk is a very nice and quiet island (non-touristic). The locals are very very nice and kind. I really enjoyed my time there, especially the food!! You can go to the Pearl Beach on sunrise and to the Charlie Beach on sunset time. The sunset there is really amazing. There's no cars in the island, only moto-taxis, and you can rent a scooter or a bicycle to explore. There is ATM if you need cash (you will definitely).

We loved our stay at Mookies. The location was great with just a few minute stroll to Charlie beach. The facilities were always spotless and comfortable. They offer a small group tour to Emerald Cave and Koh Kradan. This was a huge highlight and very affordable. Above all the staff at Mookies were some of the kindest people we met in Thailand. They helped us book anything we needed and went above and beyond to help. Would highly recommend staying here.

lovely bungalows, beautiful breakfast (best we had in Thailand) great cocktails, really unique experience on a beautiful Thai island. The owners are very lovely (very good English) and take the time to chat and give you lots of local knowledge. This was one of the best experiences we had while island hopping in Thailand. We also had the special dinner option they provide which was an incredible feast of local dishes, best food we’ve had in Thailand.

Magical place decorated with so much flair and taste. Family owned hotel by wonderful people making it a very special experience. I loved every minute spent at the tropical and we came back for the restaurant as well as it’s the best cooking of the island. Little touches like free water refill shows how they got everything right in hospitality. I can’t recommend enough how warm welcoming and beautiful this place is. A gem and highlight in my trip!

This is best place to stay if you want a truly authentic island experience. The owner showed me incredible hospitality, helping me to find the best deals for tours, food, and transport on and off the island. He gave me rides all around the island free of charge, and gave great recommendations on where to go and what to see. He helped me connect with the locals providing a very unique and amazing experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Huge room, clean and modern, can't fault the level of comfort. Food was great, cooked by the owners, 10 minute walk to town and pier, they pick you and your luggage up from the ferry and drop you off after. Great value place to stay. Getting around in Thailand is always easy so location was fine. On the trail to the viewpoint hike. Saw hornbills in the trees. Some of the best coffee I've had, made on the spot from beans...so good.

We loved everything here - beautiful garden, cosy bungalow with nice terrace, comfy bed, very welcoming and caring attitude from the hosting family, excellent location. They even provided ear plugs to distance from the rich nature sounds and have a better sleep:) Very nice surprise was the breakfast served in the best coffee shop/bakery on the island - Miss Island, with the delicious coffee grown in Thailand.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mook Ing Lay. It is in a great location right near the pier and the village. The family running the hotel were super friendly and delivered a fresh fruit plate each afternoon. We stayed in the pink house which had a large veranda and was perfect for enjoying the evening breeze from. The room was large, clean and had a very comfortable bed. We would definitely come back.

This place is amazing! I stayed here on my own and loved it. The owner and her friend were so friendly and helpful. The room is perfect and has its own wooden deck to relax on. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner and you’re right in the middle of a lovely local village. I even saw a dugong, right outside my window!! Would definitely recommend staying here if you visit Ko Muk :)

Very close to the pier and near the best beach on Koh Mook (Sivalai Beach). Convenient for almost all the restaurants. If you are planning to visit Koh Mook and you can't afford Sivalai Beach Resort, then you should stay here. The owner could not have been more helpful and gave us fresh fruit every day. Very comfortable bed with 4 comfortable pillows. Lovely view of the garden.

The best welcome we had in Thailand. It is a lovely family-owned resort with everything you need for a perfect stay! We rented 2 bungalows that were made completely out of bamboo, which was impressive and an experience to sleep in. Obviously very simple but super comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were amazing. Absolutely 100% recommend staying here!

Ecological awareness. Full of greens, beautiful flowers everywhere in the property. It's a SPA within itself. Much much worthed spent a few nights at this place. Kritt arranged very enjoyable full day excursion. So excited, our group saw 2 metre Seacow (Dugong) eating sea grass in front of the resort.

Love the location it’s right by the main walking street of Koh Mook. Also it is very close to the pier. Location of the hotel is on a beach so we could have breakfast overlooking the sun rising from the horizon. Couldn’t have asked for more. Their happy hour is also very inexpensive.
