Honored by Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi, one of the holiest mosques in Islam, Medina is the 2nd most important Islamic pilgrimage site after Mecca. Surrounded by hills that have seen hundreds of people seek refuge in its oasis, this city has developed a range of modern facilities to host the pilgrims from all over the world.
Formerly named Yathrib, Medina is affectionately known as both the "Prophet’s City" and the "Radiant City". The Prophet Muhammad came to the city in the 7th century, seeking refuge from his opponents. According to Muslim theology, the last chapters of the Quran were revealed to him here.
The site where the Prophet lived is now occupied by the Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi or "Prophet’s Mosque". Although the mosque has changed and expanded over the years, the green dome is part of the original sanctuary.
Places like the Masjid Quba mosque, the Masjid Al-Qiblatain mosque and the Al-Baqi Cemetery also represent important holy sites in Medina.
Whether you arrive directly at Medina’s Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport or come from Mecca or Riyadh, check out the accommodation deals on Booking.com before traveling.

Medina is a great holy place to visit.
Medina is a great holy place to visit. The weather is mostly pleasure throughout out the year (summer afternoons can be quite hot). One can really feel the relaxation in the atmosphere of Medina, especially in the Prophet's Mosque (PBUH).

As a Muslim MADINA lives in my heart and soul, I visit here at least 2-3 times a year and definitely in last 10-11 days of Ramadan since last 25 years minus 2 years when it was closed in 2019 & 2020 I believe because of Pandemic.
It’s the place where I want to live a die in feet’s of HAZRAT MOHAMMAD SAWW PEACE BE UPON HIM.

Location is good.
Location is good.
Room was not prepared; had to complain and to get it ready (issues with light, plumbing).
Breakfast items are almost the same everyday. Had the same soup for 10 days.
I will still stay here next time because of location.
Almost everything! Location is the best. It's possible to walk to the center although not for the lazy souls. But to the old railwats station defunitely it's easy to walk. There are plenty of local restaurants around and a supermarket run by a friendly Indian gentleman literally in the back.
The bedoroom was super comfortable, very clean, well equipped and quiet. Beds were comfortable and I slept very well here. I booked for one night but decided to stay two more to rest from my trip around Saudi Arabia. Loved my stay.
Perfect location near a lovely promenade and some fantastic restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is modern but has a distinct Saudi style: dignified luxury, nothing flashy. My room had lots of space and all the basic supplies, including many free water bottles. I could adjust the AC and tightly close the blackout curtains, which is why it was the best sleep I had for a long time. The personnel were very welcoming, friendly and quick to help. Highly recommended.
One of my best experiences in a hotel especially as a woman traveling alone.
I felt very safe and the setting is nice, it's a new hotel and very well equipped, clean and the staff is really helpful.
The room is spacious with everything you need.
It is not very far from alharam (uber 9 rial saudi).
I recommend it 100%.

Dear booking .com
Even I have booking manara al madinah hotel refused to give check-in they told not available the room, this is not acceptable and I fase trouble and I take other hotel expenses SR.600 you have to credit this amount to my account.
You have to take action to the manarat al madinah hotel.
The breakfast was very high quality and delicious. Best meal I had in Saudi. The location is perfect, and I would say it’s actually the best location compared to all of the other hotels in the area. Very close access to the Rawda entrance. Clean, modern, comfortable rooms. Excellent value
Overall it was a nice experience ,new hotel staff are very helpful, walking distance of 10min walk but not recommend to walk during summer better to get a taxi or Uber for 15 to 20 Saudi Ryal, free underground free parking everything was perfect except breakfast was very average.
The hotel location is good due to nearby to Masjid Nabawi and small shopping activities in surrounding areas. If yu adventure enough, the buggy services route to Masjid Quba is another alternative for your shopping and feels traditional the more real Madinah's environments.
This is our third stay in this hotel, major points are cost and location. It is near to gate 326, next to Anwar Al Madinah hotel, room is spacious and clean with all the necessary amenities.
Thanks to Alauddin for great room service, he is very cooperative and attentive. .
Very close to HARAM and food is fresh all time with high quality. Mr.Nooruddin is very helpful person and room boy Mr.biplob also good he supported all time when we need for cleaning .My all family members is very happy at view Al madinah hotel.
It's one of the best hotel in the surrounding of Masjid Nabwi.
I have been to many hotels around, but if I have to advise, then this is by far the top hotel in Madinah, considering the cleanliness, service, and proximity to the ladies gate.
The room & bathroom were clean, plenty of toiletries available, hot water & towels available
The staff very welcoming, allowed us to checkout after Zuhr prayer
3 minutes walking distance from Al Haram & all other attractions in Al Madina
Hotel was not upto mark as in picture ,room standard and beds was pathetic,in same time we also booked one room in saja Al Madina that was very nice and clean room, it's wash room was so much dirty, room cleanings very pathetic
The LOCATION is awesome, room size is a little bit small but adjusted, I had with my family with 4 members, overall we satisfied and good return from the money.
I advised, must stay in Movenpick Anwar al Madinah Hotel.
The hotel was great, staff was co-operative, location was good and close by to the place I want. So it was a good stay and would definitely love going back as/when traveling to Saudi Arabia in future.
Amazing owners . Very clean . The best if all al madina. I stays q lots in hotels in the whole world 🌎. This is the best place ever very peaceful as well and price ways very cheap
Everything was excellent, the service, the friendliness of the staff, the location, the breakfast buffet...for me, the best hotel in Madinah with good price.
