This place was in an ideal location to visit all the sites of old town. It was so close to old town that you could easily drop things off and make your way back. The bonus thing, it was just far enough away to be very quiet!

Where do I start? Everything was perfect! The location is fantastic, right on the old city, a few seconds walk from the best restaurants, bars and dance bars in town. The staff is lovely - during the hours they are present. When we were traveling one day, my eldest son was worried that he had lost his phone, one of the staff members went up to the room specifically and found the device in the kitchen... The service is amazing and smiling, the cleanliness is wonderful. I will definitely recommend the place to anyone who comes to Bucharest, and there is no doubt that I have found my favorite place to stay and stay in the city! You are 11 out of 10!

Very clean rooms. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is available. We stayed only one night (mix up of dates at a different terrible hotel) and were absolutely delighted with the whole experience. The staff was extremely helpful and quick to respond to messages. The location is perfect. Definitely recommend.

The room was spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, safe, located in the center of old town of Bucharest. The staff Bogdan and Nico were very kind and helpful! They kept our luggages the last day after checking out, they gave us more towels when we needed them. Everything went well.

This was my second stay at this property. I love it here. The apartments are huge and well appointed. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. There’s a great breakfast place right around the corner. The hotel is just outside the old town walls, with an alleyway connecting you to old town in a one minute walk. So tons of restaurants around. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Also, you’ll value the Matisse’s location as it is one of the few old town hotels where you can get drop off car service out front. Most old town hotels are inside the squares so you have to walk a distance through crowded cobblestone streets to find them.

Location is great. Very close to main attractions, restaurants and shopping. The room was wonderful, very spacious, relaxing and comfortable. Loved the kitchenette in the apartment, provided an option to dine in rather than eating out every day. Staff was first class and extremely attentive, friendly and welcoming at both Checkin and checkout. Highly recommend.
