Totul! Staff-ul foarte amabil, totul e de nota 10.
Didn't you know? There are plenty things to do in Galati, from taking long walks on the amazing Danube cliff to visiting the art museum or drink a cocktail on the Danube waves beach. You can even cross the river with a ferryboat and try the untouched natural Cocuta beach and take a swim in the Danube. Better yes, rent a small boat and go fishing. Or, if you feel lazy, drink a nice coffee at the central pubs and reserve your seat at the Fani Tardini Theater. Than, visit the Public Garden and maybe catch a movie in the outdoor cinema. And don't forget to ask for a Siret, a unique sweet biscuit which one can find only in Galati.

Not really a touristic city, but if you're in the area it's worth 1-2 days. The Danube promenade and the botanical garden are probaby the most attractive sights in the city. There are a few good (as in 'reliable') pubs and restaurants, but don't expect anything fancy.
There are a few big streets and a small central area worth visiting, otherwise I don't recommend exploring the city. Other sights can be found outside the city, e.g. across the Danube.

Galati as a city is improving year on year, i visit for business mainly and have been coming here for over 12 years.
Whilst the city is not a tourist destination in itself, the city is clean and the Danube runs through it, so there are some very nice places to visit, eat and spend time.
It has a very good shopping Mall and generally there are a great many bars and restaurants to choose from.
Galati is a great jumping off point to visit the Danube Delta, which is an amazing place for wildlife and a UNESCO world heritage site so preserved area, expect to see many birds including Pelicans, you may also see if you are lucky, otters, or even Golden Jackals.

Galati is a nice , clean and peaceful town and is enjoying the Danube.
Although is not a huge city is able to offer most of the attractions like theatre, public gardens, restaurants and so on.
Moving and getting around the city is easy and inexpensive.
Last but not least the locals are friendly and willing to help.
I really like it and warmly recommended.

As a new visitor I found Galati to be an interesting location to visit. On the Danube and building renovation is seeing new designs blend well with old world charm. The Science Museum was very unexpected. Check the weather before going. I didn’t mind it, for the most part, but was surprised by the cold on one day.
The people were friendly and helpful. I found trying local food very enjoyable.
I found the EURO was not commonly accepted. Make sure you travel with local currency.

There is not a huge amount to do in the city, but there are a couple of museums, and excellent walks along the Danube. There are some good restaurants, the city and the architecture is interesting in itself, and there is a small zoo at nearby Braila. I went to visit a friend rather than to see the city.
Perfect location in the center of Galati. But quiet as inside the bock. No noise from the streets around.
Surrounded by restaurants and cafe to eat and relax. Walking distance.
Nice long riverside for jogging or biking.
Private enclosed parking lot. That is super convenient if traveling by car.
EV charger nearby.
Clean and cozy rooms. Friendly and helpful english-speaking staff.
I'd recommend this hotel for car travelers as it is located day-travel distance from Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova or Ukraine.
Romanian roads are excelent.
I am impressed by this apartment, as it is better then on the pictures.
Very clean, cozy, warm and wonderful apartment.
It was my best night, as I slept as a baby. The bed is so soft, that I did not want to get up. Only morning coffee made me to open the eyes. By the way, yes, you can make a fresh coffee, as there is a coffee machine.
It 12 from 10.
As the owner is so sweet and helps with all questions.
Next time I visit Galati once again, I know the best place in the city.
The hotel has an excellent location close by the Danube promenade, with some very good restaurants nearby (like Blue Aqua). Our room had a nice view of the promenade, was comfy with the usual facilities you can expect from such a hotel. Staff is generally kind and helpful. We've enjoyed the fact that this was a pet friendly location, even if you get taxed for it.
This apartment was extremely clean and I have very high standards. Everything was decorated in good taste and very comfortable. We liked the fact that it had AC since it can get pretty hot during summer in Galati. It is located in a central but quiet area of the city, 5 min walking distance from Danube river. It also has a supermarket 5 min away from it.
The host was very friendly and provided us all necessary information in advance for a smooth self check-in. He also made sure to be available at any time just in case we needed anything.
The apartment was nice and most importantly clean, just as the pictures show. We had everything we needed in order to enjoy our stay in Galati.
it was a big surprise to find this special hotel in Galați. The hotel is perfect, it is a 4* but should be at least 5*. Everything was perfect from the first call. Yes, is very hard to believe that is an review made by a client, but it is.
Clean and tidy as always in all Ibis hotels were I’ve been before. Good plus I have had a late check in(after midnight). Breakfast was included, so you don’t need to spent a time to think where to go to eat.
The view is exceptional, the breakfast was very good and the room was very large. The hotel has a good location, facing the Danube, and nearby the Botanical Garden, which is best place in Galati to stroll.
Closed parking is an advantage especially for those who are travelling and looking for a safe place for car. Pizza restaurant in the hotel made easy to grab sth after a long drive
Beautiful and comfortable apartment in a quiet area. Coffee, water and tea available. Easy ckeck-in. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a cosy stay in Galati.
it’s near the river about a couple blocks away. there’s co no isn’t stores and pubs and restraints nearby. I’d recommend this hotel for people visiting galati .
