Our guest house is located in the heart of Lisbon, in the historic neighborhood of Alfama. The building's architecture respects the classic and rustic style of the historic district. The design of the house follows the line of a Hostel in which the walls tell the story of various mythical figures in the history of Lisbon and Portugal. There are plenty of attractions in the neighborhood within walking distance, including Castelo de São Jorge, Cais do Sodré, Bairro Alto, Graça, Rossio, Terreiro do Paço, Baixa Chiado and Belém. Our space is a spacious apartment consisting of three interior rooms and one exterior room. Each guest has a private bedroom with a double bed. The shared kitchen is equipped with various utensils. There are two shared bathrooms. The room has a small balcony overlooking Rua Augusto Rosa where the tram runs.

This medieval neighborhood is the second oldest neighborhood in Europe. It is a small village in the middle of the capital, a neighborhood to get lost in the alleys and squares, letting yourself be guided by the senses: seeing clotheslines on the balconies and fantastic views of the Tagus, smelling fish being roasted on the corner, listening to the sounds of Fado from the interior of a typical restaurant, savoring traditional dishes and touching magnificent tile panels. This is the most picturesque neighborhood in Lisbon and the true soul of the city. Here life goes on as it did centuries ago, but going down to the river you enter the 21st century again, with old warehouses now converted into some of the trendiest spaces in the city, to eat, drink and dance until dawn.
