Lovely quaint and rustic little bungalow, ours was at the and and was surrounded by plants, trees, gardens, beautiful, it had a picnic bench on top of cliffs, the bed was comfy, fresh bread and eggs were provided each day for breakfast and the room serviced daily which was lovely, the bed was comfy. The communal pool was nice with a fantastic views of coastline, the whole place had a happy, chilled vibe and we completely fell for its charms, very much hope to return in the future...

The location is peaceful and beautifully located with the view of the ocean. Gardens full of exotic flowers are well kept. This place offers opportunity to disconnect from hustle and bustle of city life.We would definitely recommend it and hope to come back for longer than 3 nights.

The breakfast was brilliant, especially loved the fresh fruit. The view from our balcony was amazing and we really enjoyed the surrounding plant and animal life. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was clean and nice. The check in was really easy and well communicated.

Fantastic to be provided with breakfast each day promptly at 8am. Also house was cleaned each day which we thought wonderful. The location is certainly interesting as it is situated down small road close to the coast. Great to have view and hear the sea. We liked the resident cats.

We loved the breakfast with fresh farm eggs and lovely bread delivered daily. There was also plenty of milk, cheese, fruit and honey etc. supplied. The toaster and microwave came in handy for delicious scrambled eggs on toast. Sitting on our little terrace surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers looking out to sea was a perfect way to start our day. We found the kitchen to be well equipped in comparison to other self catering accommodation we've stayed in even though we did eat out quite often. The house keeping was kept up to every day, apart from NYD which was absolutely fine. On New Year's Eve we arrived back to find a lovely note with a bottle of bubbly and some biscuits which was a lovely touch. The local bus service is very efficient during week days, but hit and miss at the weekend. You just have to work around that if like us you decide not to hire a vehicle. We got to Funchal, Santana and a local Lavada walk very easily and cheaply this way.
