The breakfast was delivered to our casa. Wonderful! Fresh scrambled eggs, cheeses and meats, yogurt, fruit, local breads, fresh squeezed OJ - Nespresso in the kitchen. Beautiful and quaint, if not gorgeous, little casitas that were spacious, decorated tastefully, and so comfortable. Pastoral, rural location just outside Santarem. Only 50 minute drive from the airport in Lisbon, so perfect for travelers to the north of Portugal. we wanted to stop in Santarem to see the eucharistic miracle and then go to Fatima, which is only 35 minutes north. Only regret is that we didn't stay longer to really enjoy this first class facility.

The 18th century Quinta da Cabrita provides accommodations in renovated homes and studios with modern comfort. All units have a homey feel and feature a blend of modern furnishings and traditional pieces. The air-conditioned accommodations features a flat-screen satellite TV, private bathroom with free toiletries. There is also a terrace, an equipped kitchenette and a dining area. Several local restaurants are available within a 10-minute drive and feature the well-renowned Santarem cuisine, highlighted by dishes such as Açorda de Sável (bread-based dish, with shad and spices). The region is also famed for the quality of its wines. Guests are also welcome to prepare their own meals, since all units possess a well-equipped kitchenette. The swimming pool area features sun loungers, sofas and a garden. The property also has a communal games room, equipped with sofas, a flat-screen TV, DVD player and billiards. The Santarém center is a 14-minute drive away and it is 12 mi from the renowned Quinta do Brinçal Golf Club. The historical village of Óbidos is a 35-minute drive and features medieval walls and traditional cobbled streets. The Santarém Railway Station is a 15-minute drive and has connections with the Portuguese capital. Lisbon International Airport is a 50-minute drive from the Quinta da Cabrita.
