Nadir is such a welcoming, gracious hostess. She showed us around the property, had a substantial breakfast prepared every morning, and helped us with our laundry needs as we had been travelling for several weeks and needed that service. The town town is quaint...and a good base to explore the National Park and surrounding area.

Wonderful place to stay. On arrival we wished we had another night in the area! The host is very kind and although she didn't speak English we still managed to communicate everything we needed. The breakfast was lovely and the fruit offering delightful, not just the standard melon, but also strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and many others! There was also a toaster, and the host kindly cooked eggs each morning on order. The bed was so comfortable, firm without being hard, and we were provided eith plenty of blankets. The view onto Geres was beautiful from our room and the shower pressure wonderful. There is a mini fridge in the room provided.

It was a really nice stay até horizonte do geres! The staff was really friendly. The location is really good, with parking and easy access. Breakfast was as expected, with fresh bread and fruits.

Perfect location on top of the hill, overlooking the true Villa do Geres. We felt very safe here and slept with the sliding glass door open, listening to the birds sing and enjoying the silence. The air is very fresh and the view of the valley is peaceful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms functional, including a refrigerator. This is an older hotel that is very well maintained by a friendly couple who have been running and loving it for 27 years. Breakfast is a pleasure, and includes breads, juice, fresh fruit, cold ham/cheese plate, scrambled eggs, and hot coffee/hot milk. Private parking is free. We felt that the overall experience was sweet and the low prices represent excellent value for the money. We could easily imagine staying for a couple of weeks and just hanging out here.

Lovely location ideal for hiking or visiting close by lakes! The lady running the hotel is very kind and communicative. Althought she does not speak english, she managed to give us all the important info to have a good stay (here I'd recommend to learn at least few Portugese words/phrases like 'thank you', 'this', 'eggs', ... as it makes communication more clear for both sides). Also the breakfasts were fantastic! Definitely would visit again.
