Location was important to me because of work. Parking was a big bonus but nowhere to eat in walking distance apart from Mc Donalds. Price for the room was good to be fair. Doubt I would ever return again.

Everything was amazing. The room itself was the best we’ve stayed in for a while. Towel warmer, very clean, large bed with plenty of extra bedding, good towels, soap and shampoo.
Easy to find. Not much around it.
Breakfast was great. Overall we would definitely go back.

Caldas is a treasure!
Caldas is a treasure! It’s a small, unassuming town, with gorgeous cobbled streets, a very large segment of walking streets in old town, a very beautiful park to meander in, and a wonderful outdoor market open every morning of the year. I found it and its residents delightful and welcoming. I left my backpack in a store and of course it was right there waiting for me behind the checkout, protected by store employees. I so love Portugal and the warmth and charm of the Portuguese people, This town is a beautiful place to stay if you want to do a very easy one day trip to historic Obidos! I highly recommend staying here. Train station is a tiny walk to town.

A great town to visit. A good transition point for further travels to closeby towns: Obidos, Fox de Arelho, Peniche and other further towns: Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro. Caldas da Raina itself is also worth visit, beautiful buildings, great park with old building of hospital for evening and all day walks.

Wonderful to walk in Dom Carlos I Parque. The trees, flowers, and plants are simply spectacular.
The open air or farmer's market has a super selection of fresh produce and flowers.
Definitely eat at Casa Antero, the best restaurant in town for over 50 years.
Be sure to visit the ceramics museum, the Jose Malhou museum, and the Raphael Bordallo Pinheiro ceramics factory shop.

The old historical town is amazing. Loved the daily fruit/flower market. The Park with it's little lake and surroundings and historical buildings were our favorite, as well as the friendly and hospitable local people.

The property is in the city center so everything is walkable. There are a wide variety of restaurants and cafes in the area. The unit is very homey and comfortable. We also enjoyed the balcony. We wanted to experience what it would be like to live in a small city in Portugal and Caldas and this unit was perfect. We loved our experience and will definitely return.
The breakfast buffet was large and varied. Vegetarian and vegan selections also. But the best thing about this hotel is the superfriendly and helpful staff. We were there to take care of someone, not a vacation. They accommodated everything we needed and went beyond extraordinary measure to help. Next to a small mall with shops and grocery store.
A very modern property with very large size of the rooms located in a quiet area just outside (abount 10 min drive) of Caldes de Rainha city centre. For someone who wants peaceful stay with ocean view, this would be great. The breakfast was included and had everything and even more you would expect in the large hotels.
Very nice interior fit out and small touches which made our stay very comfortable. A great outside porch at the back, which our dog loved. Superb host, who gave some very helpful recommendations to make our stay enjoyable. If we are ba k in the area again, we won’t hesitate to try to book again! Definitely recommended.
We loved our hosts. Very personable, helpful with local travel advice. Served us a wonderful breakfast daily. Beautiful country surroundings. Comfortable, quiet, and roomy suite. Everything you need plus a gorgeous swimming pool. Convenient parking. Great location for visiting Obidos and Caldas da Rainha.
The location is ideal for walking to all the key government offices, bus & trains stations, pedestrian streets and shopping and the famous fruit and fish markets.
The staff are all excellent, the cleaning staff do an excellent job, Telmo and Veronica are real assets to the hotel.
The hotel itself was exceptional, with a very clean and comfortable room, lovely decor and really friendly staff. The attached restaurant had an amazing choice of delicious food and wine for dinner and breakfast was great. Would absolutely stay again.
I had a lovely stay at the this hotel. The owners are such wonderful people and very friendly. D. Elvira is definitely a bundle of joy with so much energy. The hotel is located in a very convenient location and walking distance from the bus terminal.
The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep after a long drive. the shower was also really good with convenient water pressure. The hotel looks new and well designed. There was free parking and the staff were very kind.
We had a wonderful visit. This was due in large part due to Marina who made us feel exceptionally welcome! The design of the hotel is quirky and interesting and fun. And the courtyard is home to two peacocks! We'll return!
The room is functional and comfortable, though a little small. For one night it was very good. The hotel is well situated from public transportation. The staff was also very helpful. I found the stay quite comfortable.
The room was good, comfortable, everything was clean and the AC was working well. The hotel is in the centre, and 5 minutes away from public parking spots and the market.
Everything was great, and especially the staff. The food was lovely, the room was pretty and very clean. We will always stay there when we are in Caldas da Rainha.
