The house is beautiful and very well equiped. The views from the house are simply spectacular and beautiful. A nice place to rest and enjoy the landscape and sea views of Pico Island. We only stayed for 2 nights but we realise that it's a place to stay longer.

The ocean is crystal clear. The mountain is absolutely spectacular. Everything is green and the flowers are beautiful. The subtropical temperature is perfect. People are very nice, and many speak English. It is very reasonably price to eat out. Things are very slow paced, which is great for those seeking piece and quiet on vacation.Marlene - 10Scored 10
What a sweet island.
What a sweet island. We personally loved the tranquility and feeling of having the island to ourselves. We spent the first week of September here and were absolutely thrilled to be able to hike Pico, scuba dive with Twin Peak Dive Center, join Futurismo on a tour of the island (including a private wine tasting!), and enjoy the local cuisine.

The town is small by charming. The nature is wonderfull.
The town is small by charming. The nature is wonderfull. Pico mountain is really impresive. You can also walk along the rocky ocean shore and take a bath in a natural basin. The only negative side is lack of store and restaurants. There is few restaurants/snack bars. But sometimes the kitchen is closed even in lunch time. São Roque do Pico it´s the perfect spot to stay in Pico island! It´s very central, you have the harbour to conecto to São Jorge and Faial Island, and just 15m away from the airport. Pico mountain if´s a super challenge to climb. let´s try it? The best whale watching of the Atlantic Ocean it´s here too... And don´t forget about the wine!!! and the caves, and fishing!!!
