Manuel is a wonderful warm host for this modern fully renovated 300 year old home. The area is full of farms and everyone is so friendly. Manuel opened his delicious garden to us so we had a very nice vegan dinner. We enjoyed our stay with all the nearby sites that Manuel recommended. 😀 Highly recommend this one.

Very special, unique place to stay in a beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Quite, small village where only cows bell can be heard. Wonderful, friendly host who makes you feel like at home.

Cosy cottage with good facilities, in a beautiful mountain location. The host was friendly and helpful. Nice bread provided gratis every morning. The nearby Parque Natural do Alvão is a gorgeous area, great for hiking. Bear in mind that the house is up some steep, uneven steps. Not a problem for me, but not ideal if anyone in your party is of limited mobility. It was unusually hot in Portugal when I was there, but I found that the lower bedroom (which seems like a converted cellar) still stayed reasonably cool. I don't think it normally gets that hot anyway.

A very modern farmhouse with great facilities, in a pleasant, quiet village that is all of 10 minutes drive from the Fisgas de Ermelo and about 20 minutes from Vila Real. The hosts were very helpful and gave me some ideas for hiking and sightseeing, as well as providing some food and drink on arrival! For what I paid it was absolutely brilliant and I'd love to come back some time. It may be worth asking ahead about parking if you have more than one car; i had no problems with one car.

La casa esta igual que en las fotos,nosotros estuvimos en Marzo y hacía bastante frio asi que necesitamos calefacción,lo cual implica comprar aparte los pellets para calentar la casa pero cunden bastante y no es un problema,la casa estaba limpia y los anfitriones muy amables y cercanos,comimos donde nos recomendaron y nos encantó,encontrar gente asi da gusto,cada mañana teniamos pan en la puerta,son cosas que se agradecen y hacen la diferencia y la estancia mas agradable todavia
